Last year, I posted a thread with my predictions on where College Gameday would be every week, and I had a decent rate of success )I got 7 of 15 correct, including the Texas-Texas Tech game:D.)

I'm going to try it again this year.

Here are some good links to find out when most of the games occur:

[ame="http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3901962"]ESPN/ABC Networks 2009 College Football Schedule - College Football - ESPN[/ame]

Week 1- September 5th- Virginia Tech/Alabama at the Georgia Dome- this one's a no-brainer.

Week 2- September 12th- USC/Ohio state- another no-brainer.

Week 3- September 19th- Nebraska/Virginia Tech- VaTech is a trendy pick to do some damage, and Nebraska is supposed to be improved.

Week 4- September 26th- Toss-up between either Cal/Oregon or Iowa/Penn State.
It all depends on two things:
1. Can Oregon win its opener at Boise State?
2. Can Iowa stay strong considering they have to replace RB stud Shonn Greene?

Week 5- USC-Cal in Berkeley. (If USC loses at Ohio State, they can't afford a second loss this early. Personally, THIS is the year the Pac-10 takes down Southern Cal. They'll lose three games- at Ohio State, at Cal, and at Oregon. They'll be Holiday Bowl bound!)

Week 6- Florida-LSU. No brainer. (BTW, LSU will have a better chance to win if it's a night game. Death Valley is not quite as daunting when the games are at day time, as we saw against Georgia and Alabama last year.)

Week 7- Texas-Oklahoma Red River Shootout. Interest in this game will be through the roof after what happened last year, on and off the field.

Week 8- Oregon State/USC is the primetime game, but I see both teams coming in with at least a loss or two (Also, USC fans are a bit different from others- they don't strike me the same way as SEC, Big 10, or Big 12 fans do. They remind me of Cowboy fans- a bit too glamorous for my taste).
This is a hard one- possibilities include Iowa/Michigan State, TCU/BYU, Oklahoma/Kansas, Penn State/Michigan, South Florida/Pittsburgh (Take THAT, Big East haters!), Texas/Missouri

Week 9- Halloween night has two choices. USC/Oregon or Texas/Oklahoma State. I lean towards the latter- Longhorns/Cowboys has always been thrilling the last five years, and both teams could head in with no losses.

Week 10- Three possibilities: LSU-Alabama, Ohio State-Penn State, or Oklahoma-Nebraska. I say Lincoln gets the nod- the other two games have been covered multiple times already, it could rekindle an old rivalry, and Nebraska will be out for payback after last year.

Week 11- There are no monster games this day (Possibilities include Florida/South Carolina, Iowa/Ohio State, Miami/North Carolina, Nebraska/Kansas). I think this is the week they go to one of those non 1-A matchups.

Week 12- I'm going with LSU-Ole Miss, given that the Rebels could be VERY dangerous and Oxford could be an interesting atmosphere. Ohio State/Michigan is also possible, but the Maize and Blue will not be back to being good for a year or two- maybe Kansas/Texas in Austin.

Week 13- This is also difficult. Maybe Oklahoma/Oklahoma State or Georgia/Georgia Tech?

Week 14- SEC or Big 12 Championship Game. Maybe Army/Navy?

You're wrong about USC. They have everyone back except Sanchez. I don't know if they'll beat Ohio St, but they'll still win the Pac 10. No one out there is very good and they'll all beat each other up. USC may not be flashy every week, but they'll win. Count on the Song Girls being back in the Rose Bowl. If it's any consolation the Rose Bowl is the undercard this year to the NC which is being played out there.

Sanchez and the WHOLE LINEBACKING CORE, and thets just off the top of my head.

USC gets handed the Rose Bowl every year, seeing they have about 2 games a year that they should have to even show up to.

fwiw, Who cares where Gameday is week to week ?

They have to be somewhere, they normally go where the weather is good.

I think there is a strong possibility of Gameday being in Oxford for the Qle Miss/Bama game week six over Florida/LSU. Of course there are a few factors that could sway this either way, but I do not see it as the no brainer that you do Sabres.

If both Bama and Ole Miss are undefeated that week, I say you may be right. Then again, an undefeated Florida against an undefeated LSU would be hard to pass up.
