Which is newer/better

Well, I just opened up the new H20 D* sent out to me, and it is an H20-100. My old one was an h20-600. Any major difference. Which should I keep?

p.s. HDMI IS working for video out.

All of D*'s receivers are built to the same spec's that D* sets....
The 600 model(Pace) is said to have the better OTA reception.
The 100 unit(RCA) is the later unit and many people like it better.
It's a personal choice thing for you...neither one is "better" than the other.

The -600 model is made by LG. I don't know who Pace is. It has a much better tuner than the -100, but has issues with overheating and rebooting.

I have the "new" 100 installed and it seems to be working ok. The menus don't appear to be as smooth (sort of lower res), but that's not an issue.

OTA reception seems to be just about the same.

It just rec'd a software update. I am about to test it to see if there are any audio sync issues.

IMHO, get rid of the 600. If you haven't had problems with it allready, you will. I had the darn thing for about six months before my component output went and I had an unwatchable picture. I have been nothing but happy with the 100.

After two days use, the new 100 box seems to be ok. There were some audio issues on the CBS HD football feed, but I think that was a CBS thing.
