Which LNB ?

Two questions if anyone can help.

1. Which LNB should be used with a Dish 500 pointed at a single sattelite (in this case 61.5) and connecting to a DPP44 switch?

2. Which LNB should be used with a Dish 500 pointed at two satelites (in this case 119 and 110) and connecting to a DPP44 switch?

Both legacy and dish pro receivers are being used.

The dish pointed at a single satellite should have a Dish Pro single or dual LNB. The Dish 500 needs a Dish Pro Twin and you need 2 DPP44 switches because you are running 6 receivers.

2. Either a pair of Dish Pro Duals or a Dish Pro Twin

The DPP44 will essentially work with any DP or DPP LNBs.

In both cases you need a DP lnbf. For 1 satellite, the Dish 300, DP dual, and for the 2 satellite set up, you need a DP twin or 2 DP duals.

If you are using a DPP 44 switch, why not point at all 3 of them? There is 4 Satellite in Ports on the 44 switch.

I do agree you will 2 switches due to the number of receivers.
