Which TV shows will return next season?

After premiering on March 20, "Bloodline," the latest series from the creators of "Damages," will return to Netflix with its second season in 2016.
One month before revealing their official 2015-2016 lineup, American networks have already renewed over 50 shows."New Girl," "Bloodline," "The Americans" and "House of Lies" are among the programs that will definitely return to the small screen starting this September, along with "Game of Thrones," "The Walking Dead," "Empire," "Gotham" and "NCIS: New Orleans."

Freshman shows that made the cut
For a new series, surviving past the first season is no small feat. "The Flash" and "Jane the Virgin" rose to the challenge thanks to their steady ratings on the CW. CBS opted to bring back "NCIS: New Orleans," the top ratings performer among its new shows last season; "Madam Secretary" and "Scorpion" have also been renewed. Fox reaffirmed its confidence in "Empire" and "Gotham," while ABC has announced "How to Get Away with Murder" will return to its lineup.

Along with "Bloodline," Netflix is bringing back "Marco Polo." In addition to introducing its new spin-off "Fear the Walking Dead," AMC will air the second season of its "Breaking Bad" spin-off, "Better Call Saul." "The Affair" will pick up where it left off on Showtime, and Amazon will present new episodes of "Transparent" and "Bosch."

Veteran shows return yet again

Other more established series have also secured their invitations to the 2015-2016 season. "Game of Thrones" will return next year on HBO, while "The Walking Dead" will return this October on AMC, both with their respective sixth seasons. Cable viewers can also look forward to new episodes of "House of Lies," "The Americans," "American Horror Story," "Homeland" and "Shameless."

Among the majors, Fox will present the fifth season of "New Girl" and the third cycles of "Sleepy Hollow" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." NBC has announced the third seasons of "Blacklist" and "Chicago Police Department," the fourth of "Chicago Fire," the fifth of "Grimm" and the 17th of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." CBS will air the sixth season of "Mike & Molly," along with the third run of "Mom." The CW will bring back "Arrow," "The 100," "Beauty and the Beast," "Supernatural," "Vampire Diaries" and its spin-off "The Originals," and "Reign."

Meanwhile CBS and ABC have yet to reveal whether they will renew their most popular shows. "The Good Wife," "The Big Bang Theory," "NCIS," "NCIS Los Angeles," "Person of Interest," "Hawaii Five-O," "Blue Bloods" and "CSI" are all in limbo, as are "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal," "Once Upon a Time," "Castle" and "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." http://news.yahoo.com/tv-shows-return-next-season-160439310.html If in wrong section please move and I apologize!! :)

Dozens of TV Shows Cancelled as Networks Clean House https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/tv-bloodbath-networks-cancel-dozens-primetime-shows-234007109.html
It’s house-cleaning time for the major networks as the cancellation ax falls in order to make for new additions in the fall. Some shows, such as NBC’s “State of Affairs” and “Constantine,” have been off the air so long that it feels they’d already been cancelled. But the formal notice falls just as hard even when if it is long expected.Among the big four networks, NBC got out the largest broom on Friday, a sign of the struggle it had this year with new series. “Marry Me,” “About a Boy,” “One Big Happy” joined earlier casualties “A to Z” and “Bad Judge.”

CBS Renews Person of Interest, NCIS, Five-0, Good Wife and 11 More Shows https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/cbs-renews-person-interest-ncis-183033126.html
Nearly all the remaining question marks in TVLine’s 2015 Renewal Scorecard have just been answered, courtesy of CBS.The Eye network on Monday renewed 15 series for the 2015-16 season, including established bubble dramas Person of Interest, Hawaii Five-0 and Elementary, as well as freshman entries CSI: Cyber and The Odd Couple. Also scoring pickups were NCIS, Blue Bloods, NCIS: Los Angeles, Criminal Minds, The Good Wife, Survivor, Undercover Boss, The Amazing Race, 60 Minutes and 48 Hours. They join previously renewed Eye programs Madam Secretary, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion, The Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly, Mom and 2 Broke Girls. With the recent cancellations of Battle Creek, Stalker and The McCarthys, that leaves CSI as the only remaining CBS series in limbo. According to reports, the network is finalizing plans to bring the long-running procedural back for an abbreviated final season.

CBS Renews ‘CSI: Cyber’, ‘Odd Couple’, ‘POI’, ‘Five-O’, ‘Good Wife’, ‘NCIS’ Duo & More https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/cbs-renews-csi-cyber-odd-183048537.html
CBS just made its final renewals for next season, picking up 10 scripted series; reality staples Survivor, The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss; and newsmagazine stalwarts 60 Minutes and 48 Hours. No major surprises (and bloodletting) on the list of renewed scripted series, with all shows coming back except for bubble series Stalker and The McCarthys, which were canceled today, and Battle Creek, which already had been unofficially canceled. The renewed scripted series are CSI: Cyber, The Odd Couple, Person Of Interest, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-O, Criminal Minds, Elementary, The Good Wife and Blue Bloods. That is besides the mothership CSI series, which has not been picked up for a 16th season but has not been cancelled either. I hear the network continues to work on a finale plan for next season, probably a movie. But the CSI brand will live on even beyond that, with the latest offshoot, CSI: Cyber starring Patricia Arquette, clinching a renewal.I hear the midseason series, which has done so-so in the ratings, might undergo some retooling. Another midseason CBS series that has landed a second-season pickup after an OK not great freshman turn is comedy The Odd Couple. Both are owned by CBS, as are all but one of the 10 renewed series including one co-production. For the sole non-CBS-produced returning show, POI, I hear this might be the final season. The three cancelled series all are from outside studios; one, The McCarthy, is a co-production with CBS. The 10 newly renewed scripted series join previously picked-up freshmen Scorpion, Madam Secretary and NCIS: New Orleans and comedies The Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly, Mom and 2 Broke Girls. For Criminal Minds, the renewal again comes before the cast has closed deals for next season, a position CBS and the show have been in before. I hear talks with actors continue as the show has been asked to trim the budget. The veteran will be joined by newly picked-up spinoff Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

CBS Fall Schedule: CSI to End (With Special Guests!), Person of Interest Held to Midseason and More https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/cbs-fall-schedule-csi-end-special-guests-person-132900971.html
It's official: CSI will end its 15-season run a two-hour finale on Sept. 27, CBS announced on Monday. Original cast members William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger will return for the show's send-off, and after the series finale, current star Ted Danson will join CSI: Cyber for its second season.Another show whose time might be running out is Person of Interest. The drama has been held until midseason - along with returning shows Two Broke Girls, Mike and Molly, The Odd Couple and Undercover Boss and newcomer Rush Hour - and its upcoming season will possibly be its last."We're having those conversations with the team right now," CBS Entertainment Chairpserson Nina Tassler said. "Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman came in and pitched really terrific ideas for the new season. And you know, we have to see. It's always been a very smart, creative show. We don't know yet whether or not it's going to be the end or not. If it is, we'll have a great ending."For the first time since 1949, CBS will also stray from opening Monday nights with comedies. Although The Big Bang Theory and Life in Pieces will premiere on Mondays because of football, they will shift to Thursday in November. Supergirl will then take the 8/7c slot, where it will go head-to-head with Fox's Gotham. Tassler described the anticipated series, from Arrow and The Flash's Greg Berlanti, as "very true to the mythology," but revealed there will be some adjustments made. However, Kara Zor-El's cousin, aka Superman, will be referenced and a part of the show's universe.CBS' adaptation of Limitless will debut on Tuesday nights and Bradley Cooper, who starred in the film on which the series is based, will appear in the pilot and recur subject to his availability. As to CBS' late-night schedule, which is in the midst of a major overhaul with David Letterman and Craig Ferguson stepping down within months of each other, the network remains incredibly optimistic. "Obviously, it's a sad week for us as we say goodbye to Dave," Les Moonves said. However, he noted that Late Late Show host James Corden has been "way beyond my wildest dreams."Stephen Colbert will be taking over The Late Show in the fall and the former Comedy Central star is in the midst of developing his new late-night voice. "He's kind of in the bunker right now working on his format, working on all the details. But right now it will be a huge launch," Tassler said of Colbert's Late Show debut.Check out CBS' fall schedule below:

Casting Roundup: ‘Big Bang Theory’ Casts Leonard’s Other Woman & More https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/casting-roundup-big-bang-theory-casts-leonard-other-192515412.html
Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) will meet the other woman in the life of Leonard (Johnny Galecki) when “The Big Bang Theory” returns. Plus, a “True Blood” alum is heading over to Starling City in today’s casting roundup.Melissa Tang may ruffle some honeymoon feathers on “The Big Bang Theory,” as she’s been cast as Mandy, the woman Leonard kissed on that North Sea expedition, much to Penny’s dismay, TVLine reports. Tang — who is no stranger to Chuck Lorre land with a recurring gig on “Mom,” and also having appeared on one episode of “How I Met Your Mother” — will first appear in episode two of Season 9.Before Mandy (Tang) comes into the picture, “Big Bang” picks up on Sept. 21 a few hours after where Season 8 left off with Penny and Leonard heading to Sin City to make their relationship official. That is, if Leonard’s canoodling doesn’t mess things up.

Warning: spoilers ahead. For those who need a refresher, season eight ended with all of the show’s central couples in disarray. Grimm Enlists Orange Is the New Black Actress for Slithery Season 5 Stint https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/grimm-enlists-orange-black-actress-195748637.html
Watch out, Grimm gang: Portland’s newest Wesen has done time at the big house.Orange Is the New Black‘s Madeline Brewer has been cast in the upcoming fifth season as a lizard-like Wesen known as a Skalengeck, TVLine has learned exclusively.Brewer’s character, Billie Trump, is described as “a fierce lieutenant in an up-and-coming Wesen street gang who is raising hell in Portland.” But just when you think that you understand Billie’s gang, you learn that the group of monsters is indicative of really terrible things to come. The actress played the drug-addicted Tricia (blonde cornrows, neck tattoos) in OITNB‘s first season, and she’s the second Litchfield inmate to show up on Nick Burkhardt’s turf: Elizabeth Rodriguez debuted last season as an FBI agent, and TVLine has learned she’ll be back in Season 5.

Need to bring Orange is the new Black actress who plays Suzane aka "Crazy Eyes" to play on Grimm. She already looks like a creature when she pops those eyes.:bigok

'Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'The Separation Oscillation'? http://www.ibtimes.com/big-bang-the...-2-synopsis-released-what-will-happen-2108274
Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) may have said "I do" in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 premiere, but that does not mean she will not "undo" her marriage to Leonard (Johnny Galecki) in episode 2. Both Leonard and Penny and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy's (Mayim Bialik) relationships took a huge blow in episode 1 with Amy breaking up with Sheldon for good and Penny finding out that Leonard works with the girl he had kissed. The synopsis for episode 2, "The Separation Oscillation," reveals that repairing those relationships will be no easy task. According to the synopsis for the new episode, Leonard, desperate to make things right with Penny, will decide that the only way to show Penny his commitment is to go confront the girl he kissed on his North Sea expedition. That means that next week fans will be introduced to Mandy (Melissa Tang), a woman Sheldon described as brilliant and attractive and who could do "way better than Leonard." Will Leonard seeing Mandy help put Penny at ease? Will Penny meet Mandy? Meanwhile, Sheldon has his own plan for how to handle his own relationship troubles. The synopsis teases that he will make a new episode of his web series, "Fun with Flags," to address the big breakup. In the promo for episode 2, Sheldon can be seen insulting Amy while filming the video.
