Which TV shows will return next season?

After premiering on March 20, "Bloodline," the latest series from the creators of "Damages," will return to Netflix with its second season in 2016.
One month before revealing their official 2015-2016 lineup, American networks have already renewed over 50 shows."New Girl," "Bloodline," "The Americans" and "House of Lies" are among the programs that will definitely return to the small screen starting this September, along with "Game of Thrones," "The Walking Dead," "Empire," "Gotham" and "NCIS: New Orleans."

Freshman shows that made the cut
For a new series, surviving past the first season is no small feat. "The Flash" and "Jane the Virgin" rose to the challenge thanks to their steady ratings on the CW. CBS opted to bring back "NCIS: New Orleans," the top ratings performer among its new shows last season; "Madam Secretary" and "Scorpion" have also been renewed. Fox reaffirmed its confidence in "Empire" and "Gotham," while ABC has announced "How to Get Away with Murder" will return to its lineup.

Along with "Bloodline," Netflix is bringing back "Marco Polo." In addition to introducing its new spin-off "Fear the Walking Dead," AMC will air the second season of its "Breaking Bad" spin-off, "Better Call Saul." "The Affair" will pick up where it left off on Showtime, and Amazon will present new episodes of "Transparent" and "Bosch."

Veteran shows return yet again

Other more established series have also secured their invitations to the 2015-2016 season. "Game of Thrones" will return next year on HBO, while "The Walking Dead" will return this October on AMC, both with their respective sixth seasons. Cable viewers can also look forward to new episodes of "House of Lies," "The Americans," "American Horror Story," "Homeland" and "Shameless."

Among the majors, Fox will present the fifth season of "New Girl" and the third cycles of "Sleepy Hollow" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." NBC has announced the third seasons of "Blacklist" and "Chicago Police Department," the fourth of "Chicago Fire," the fifth of "Grimm" and the 17th of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." CBS will air the sixth season of "Mike & Molly," along with the third run of "Mom." The CW will bring back "Arrow," "The 100," "Beauty and the Beast," "Supernatural," "Vampire Diaries" and its spin-off "The Originals," and "Reign."

Meanwhile CBS and ABC have yet to reveal whether they will renew their most popular shows. "The Good Wife," "The Big Bang Theory," "NCIS," "NCIS Los Angeles," "Person of Interest," "Hawaii Five-O," "Blue Bloods" and "CSI" are all in limbo, as are "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal," "Once Upon a Time," "Castle" and "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." http://news.yahoo.com/tv-shows-return-next-season-160439310.html If in wrong section please move and I apologize!! :)

Suits Boss Talks Mike's Fate and Season 6's 'Uncharted Territory' http://tvline.com/2016/03/02/suits-recap-season-5-episode-16-mike-goes-to-prison/
During Wednesday's Season 5 finale, the faux lawyer took responsibility for his crimes and entered a white collar prison. (FYI: The jury would have come back with a "Not Guilty" verdict. #Regrets) Even Harvey's last-ditch efforts to save his protégé were unsuccessful. Before heading off to the clink, Mike made another difficult choice: At the last minute, he aborted his plan to marry Rachel so that she could fulfill her dream of one day becoming a lawyer. With Mike's past catching up to him in the final six episodes, "Everybody said, 'This is the only way it could end. It is inevitable. It's going to happen,'" executive producer Aaron Korsh says of the fraud's trip behind bars. In not skirting the consequences of Mike's actions, the stage is set for a big "change" in Season 6."There's going to be new characters, [a return] to some humor and a new setting," the EP previews. "Our hope is that new life has been breathed into the show."Below, Korsh describes next season's "uncharted territory" and weighs in on when the long-running drama will end.

Suits Boss Breaks Down "Game-Changing" Finale: "We Had to Pull the Trigger" http://www.tvguide.com/news/suits-finale-postmortem-mike-prison/
"I think he knows he had to put a stop to this," Adams tells TVGuide.com. "Would it have been good if he was just found not guilty? It would be an interesting show -- well, he's a lawyer now and everyone who watches the show knows he's not, but then it'd just be a lawyer show. I think the show has always been about more than that. This is really gonna expand the show. ... There's something of a hero's journey in [his decision], where someone just has to man up and say there's an out here. He's found a family in these people and the last thing he wants is to have a decision he made out of desperation to be something that rips them all apart. And if he has to take the bullet for two years, then he's gotta do it. I'm really excited to see what that does for Mike from this point on."Elsewhere, Rachel's dad Robert (Wendell Pierce) appears to be breaking a non-compete to poach from Pearson Specter Litt, but he points out that per PSL's moral clause, any partner can leave if a name partner participates in a crime. The ace in his pocket? Louis' (Rick Hoffman) former protégée Katrina (Amanda Schull) had secretly recorded him admitting that Mike is a fraud. As Mike heads to the big house, Jessica (Gina Torres), Louis and Donna arrive back to a completely empty office. So how long will we see Mike in prison? Why did it have to happen? Will Mike and Rachel ever get married? Executive producer Aaron Korsh answers our burning questions.

'Suits' Viewership Rises In Season Finale From 2015 Low http://deadline.com/2016/03/suits-f...e-patrick-adams-gabriel-macht-usa-1201714086/
Last night's 10 – 11:04 PM finale of the Aaron Korsh created series snagged 1.708 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49. That's pretty steady with Suits' February 24 show's viewership, with a tiny dip of 1% from the 1.73 million who watched. Among adults 18-49, the rating is even in the key demo result with last week.Where the real cloth leaves the clobber behind is in thee comparison between the Season 5 finale and the Season 4 finale of March 4 last year. That episode of Suits had 1.553 million total viewers, a finale low for the series. Last night's Season 5 ender was up 10% in its overall audience from the previous finale, which was also on a Wednesday but at 9 PM. The all-time finale high for Suits was the end of the first season on September 7, 2011 with 3.467 million viewers and an 1.1 rating on a Thursday.First off its ironic that mike agrees to a deal as his lawyer, by pleading guilty to...With the fifth season itself, last night's show took a 30% fall in viewership and went down a tenth in the demo from the midseason finale of August 26 last year. The January 27 return of Suits after nearly a 6-month break had the Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht starring series pulling in 1.740 million viewers and a 0.5 rating on a very competitive night of multiple NBA games – pretty close with last night's finale.

Why Suits sending Mike to prison was actually best for the show http://www.sheknows.com/entertainme...-sending-mike-to-prison-was-best-for-the-show
Mike's unexpected fate in Suits' Season 5 finale pushes the show in a whole new and exciting direction.Ever since Suits debuted on USA, viewers have been wondering how long Mike Ross could walk around pretending to be a lawyer without ever receiving punishment for his fraudulent actions. Well, fans now know. The second half of Season 5 has focused on Mike's investigation and whether or not Harvey Specter could actually save his friend from prison. Well, the Season 5B finale delivered an answer. In a surprise turn of events (because when don't Harvey and Mike usually get their way?), Mike Ross is going to prison for two years.Rather than having faith in the jury like his fiancée Rachel wanted him to, Mike decided to take Anita Gibbs' two-year prison deal, with one exception: after he pleaded guilty and signed his confession, she could not go after Harvey, Jessica, Louis, Rachel, Donna or anyone else who knew his secret. Basically, Mike turned himself in and saved everyone else.If Mike would've just waited for the jury, he'd still be roaming free and possibly practicing law. Harvey sought out the jury foreman to see if they would've found Mike innocent or guilty. Guess what? They were going to find him innocent.Even so, Mike going to prison is the right move for Suits. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see Mike serving time (hey, he was guilty, after all), but it will make the series even more interesting, not to mention even better than it already is.

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow': Is Chronos a Member of the Legends? http://collider.com/legends-of-tomorrow-chronos-poll/
Though we have never seen Chronos' face, it is implied that Chronos knows Rip. In the fourth episode, when Druce and Chronos catch up with Rip in the Soviet forest, Chronos calls him "old friend." Mick and Rip were never particularly tight, but Mick does have a flair for the dramatic. Plus, Rip calls (contemporary) Mick his friend in this very conversation. ("I won't be able to tell Mick he was right … He was convinced you were going to kill me.")This theory does have canon working against it. In the comics, Chronos has served as an alias for three separate characters: David Clinton, Walker Gabriel, and Jia. The David Clinton version of the character served as a villain against the Ray Palmer version of the Atom. Will Legends choose to honor that comic book relationship by making Chronos someone related to Ray Palmer? The powers that be are big comic book fans, but they have also shown a propensity for translating canon with a twist — i.e. making Connor Hawke Diggle's son rather than Oliver's.If Chronos isn't Mick, who is he? Well, as long as we're on the subject, he could be a future-version of a different member of the Waverider — i.e. Ray Palmer, Rip Hunter, Snart, etc. It doesn't have the same narrative efficiency as a Mick reveal, but it would certainly make things emotionally interesting. The Arrow-verse has a habit of using villains who have had close relationships with their heroes — i.e. Slade Wilson or Malcolm Merlyn in Arrow or Harrison Wells in The Flash.Alternatively, Chronos could be a random dude from Rip's past, perhaps someone he trained or worked with as a Time Master. Personally, I think this is the least interesting option, though — if done right — the show could make it work. Whoever it is, here's hoping Legends of Tomorrow executes the reveal well. With only five episodes left in the season, it's time for the time-traveling action adventure to make some character-driven, game-changing moves.

24 team playoff seems to be real close.

Are we really that far from a 64-team tournament?

The benefit of the 24 team playoff:
  • All the cartel teams that cartels want in playoff are in playoff
    • Independent of record too! Bonus.
  • MONEY!!!!! for the cartels.
  • I'm out of ideas.
Cons
  • Regular season really doesn't matter now other than the rivalry games
    • Top cartel teams can lose three games and still make the playoff
  • Going to start resting players?
    • The playoff is going to be *checks notes* several games!
    • Resting players could make games dumb.
    • Maybe even restrict NIL players from games played.
  • How much are streaming sub costs going up a month to pay for this?!

Wasn't exactly sure where to post this. Just had a customer come in inquiring about internet. He has HughesNet and had heard good things about mine. He asked if we provided email addresses and it kinda caught me off guard. I said he should be able to keep whatever email he had been using....my sister in law is still using a BellSouth email addy and they haven't been around here for many years. He said he had gotten a letter from HughesNet stating that they had until Nov 16th to save, move, forward, whatever, their Hughesnet emails because they would lose them after that date.

I have never heard of a company simply mass-deleting email accounts (the customer still has his HughesNet service). From what I understand, in the past, the company who was ditching their email service simply sold the customer base to a company like Google.

Anyone else getting this letter. He said he would show it to me tomorrow when I go out there and set up his internet.

Doing a Google of the HughesNet Email notice, it seems that HughesNet has been trying to eliminate hosting emails since 2019. And with HughesNet filing Chapter 11 back in August, it would be a smart move to switch to a more stable Email provider. Even AT&T farmed out their Email to Yahoo! years ago.

SpaceX's Starlink and the Cellular 5G Home Internet solutions have pretty much relegated HughesNet and its high latency, low bandwidth Internet service to History. If Earth had shorter days, maybe a Geostationary Internet Solution might have stood a fighting chance…

Well, I helped him set up a gmail acct....I actually wanted to see what the new process is for setting up a gmail acct since it had been years since I set mine up. Anyway, I showed him how to forward the emails he wanted to keep over.

Sometimes a thread gets so many posts in it that is can cause issues for the server so that why today we introduce The Song Name Game Part 3!

So let the game continue!

The last song was added by Bobby who posted...

One Meat Ball - Andrews Sisters

CONTINUE ON AND HAVE FUN! WELCOME HOME TO SATELLITEGUYS.US!

Here are the original rules for the game as posted by WebbyDude back in 2006. http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/68645-Song-Name-Game

Just name a song title and the band who performed it. The next person does the same thing, but needs to list a song title or band name which includes a word from the previous entry. Pick songs from any genre.

Example:

Long Live Rock and Roll -- Rainbow

Rainbow in the Dark -- Dio

Another example:

Ride the Lightning -- Metallica

Lightning Strikes -- Ozzy Osbourne

Get it?

An additional note: we all know that song titles, sometimes, use profane words. Because this is a family friendly website it is advised that you clean up that title up a bit. This is accomplished by using something like sh!t instead of the real word. Thanks....

Have you tested using external power? Over the years, have found unpowered polarity switching to be unreliable. Especially problematic when used with DiSEqC motors or switch stacking.
H
No I have not. I just got it the other day and it is connected to six receivers working just fine. What I do is non power mini multi-switches work best with LNBF's and with LNB's
H
It also has a IPS and a OPS switch on the side of it with a power led light showing when is on. It seems to be very nice build switch

Back on the Goliath Roller Coaster ... I'm interested to find more details as well ...
Like where on the track did this happen (somewhere I read that it was on the climb up the top), which is impossible ...

They really need to take that ride and add at the very least, seatbelts ...

The Park is opening back up on Friday, the ride will Not be opening ... personally, I would keep it closed until different type of restraints can be designed and installed (over the winter).

I find it hard to believe that this ride is even allowed to be running with the restraints that exist at the moment, there are other rides that use the same type and they have been shut down across the country.

You got to believe that every ride has at least 2 types of restraint systems in place.

I wonder what and when we will hear from the Manufacturer ... and whatever governing bodies control these ...

Just think, this is a Major Amusement Park .... I would not have any problem getting on the Roller Coasters I have rode ...

Imagine what these County Fairs and others like them, I would not be caught Dead on one of them ... they get put up and tore down every other week, where is the safety for those rides ... No Thank You.

Had no idea there were that many redundancies built into those restraints.
It makes sense, however, I would want more types of restraints, so if one doesn't work, the other does ... the restraints coming over the shoulder I would have expected ... with a Seat belt as last resort.

Fwiw, I inquired with what they use on Coasters at Cedar Point, various Coasters, different restraints according to what the car and track requires ...

NONE of the Coasters at CP use THAT particular system :)
I'm glad to see ...

with a Seat belt as last resort.
According to the article, when you see a seat belt on a ride like this, it is basically used as a way of making sure the rider isn't too large/fat to safely ride the ride.
