In a Pro Bowl thread, anders was talking about how Clinton Portis was selected ahead of D'Angelo Williams, and he said that "Portis is one of the most overrated players in the league."

Who do YOU think is an overrated player?

I'll take Roethlisberger any day.

Sure his stats might not be pretty, but at the end of the day all he does is WIN! :up

Overrated, just for some context my thoughts on this are Good or maybe even very good players that are endlessly hyped as great. Usually comes from somewhat of a team with a national following.

I'll concur with a few here and say the first name that comes to mind is Roethlisberger.

He's a good solid QB far from great and is capable of throwing INT's in big spots just as well as TD's. For some reason all you hear about are the touchdowns.

I fully expect "Big Ben" to come up "Snake Eyes" in the opening round of the playoffs knocking the Steelers out.
