Why rename TurboHD packages to Dish America?

Maybe I can help?

What's all the fuss about? We've offered an all-HD Package for years now. Now it is called DISH America, used to be called TurboHD. It is less expensive than the SD+HD packages.

May I ask, politely, where the confusion is coming from? And hopefully I can be part of the solution. Thanks guys!

Did you check the links I provided? Specifically check the channel line up. Some dish csr's will also tell you that those are the channels you will get.

The bottom line is you do not get ALL the HD channels in each package. EX. America Silver.....
FX, Speed, MTV, Fox News and a few others are missing.

Hopefully you can be part of the solution, as we have never been able to get the answer as to why a National Retailer ( Radio Shack ) offers the channels that are not available in the HD only packages.

I'd like some Dish responsibility for these packages instead of acting like they don't exist and not telling their CSRs, here's a "job aid" that list sthe channels.
