Will Dish 6.0 blue remote work with DISH 942 Receiver

I purchased 2 additional blue remotes for my DISH 942 receiver from ebay. They sent me 6.0 remotes instead of the 6.2 remote that came with the receiver. I ensured it was on the same remote address as my receiver and I was unable to get the remote to work. Advanced technical support from DISH said that the 6.0 remote wasn't compatible. Does anyone know a way to get the 6.0 to work with the DISH 942?

Thats correct, 6.0 wont work with a 6.2 receiver.

thanks...i will start my conquest of getting the correct remotes as they advertised incorrectly on ebay....wish me luck.
