Wimbledon to be on ESPN only

Don't know if anyone here cares about tennis (I don't) but I saw this just now and thought I should post it. Starting next year, Wimbledon will no longer be on NBC, just ESPN only.

It seems to be where the future of sports is going. There isn't going to be many sporting events left on OTA in the coming years. ESPN is going to keep offering outrageous amounts and then get the video providers to jack our rates to cover it. I am really surprised ESPN didn't come out with the winning bid for the Olympics last month.

Eventually the price of ESPN will be so high no cable or sat company will be able to afford it.
