wireless joey ?

just wondering how well everyone thinks this set up will function? will there be constant drop outs? it sounds very simple to operate.

will the super joey be wireless as well?

The super Joey will NOT be wireless it will require a coax connection to a duo node just like a second Hopper.
The wirless Joey will be on its own wireless network with a wirless router connected to the second eathernet port on the Hopper. Unless you have a large house with the devices at opposite ends of the house or lead lined walls you should not be troubled with dropouts.

The Super Joey will not work with a duo node. It works with a single node and via an integrator....

ok, so here is another couple of ?'s

if I had 2 hoppers & 2 wireless joey's.........would each of the joey's be able to see both of the hoppers?
will the tv connected to the wireless joey have the same picture quality as the tv connected to the hopper?

A Super adds two tuners to the Hopper. You don't want that to be wireless....

don't expect anything with a tuner to be wireless anytime soon. More likely they'll come out with a 5 or 6 tuner hopper before that happens.

Probably have to link back and forth between hoppers, but we won't know for sure until comes out.

It will definitely have the same picture quality as a regular joey can stream wireless with your own adapter and not affect picture quality. The dish wireless joey has a dedicated network, so it should be more reliable than our DIY wireless setups we use for regular joeys. Of course that's in theory as it all depends on how well the software works...
