Wishlist on HR20?

Is there a wishlist on the HR20, or is that a copyrighted function by Tivo? I looked under the search menu and didn't see any way to do it. Hopefully I'm just blind and there is a way.

That's what the search is. However "advanced" wishlist functionality is only found on the Tivo.

For example I have the same wishlist on my Tivo as I do the HR20. On the HR20 I have a saved search for Keyword "Red Wings" | Category Sports and running that search will pull up anything to do with the Red Wings. Just like the wishlist on the Tivo. You can also autorecord a search on the HR20 but beware that right now it runs on *all* channels which will include ones you don't get. So it might not be a problem depending on what kind of search you are doing but will be a problem in other cases like sports.

I have no idea if the Wishlist is a Tivo patent but I don't know any other DVR out there with the same advanced wishlist functionality of the Tivo.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. Does it work for something that's not in the guide at the moment? i.e. If I liked Sliders (I don't think that's on any channel now) and Sci-Fi does a Sliders marathon in 2 months, can I set it to record that now using the search menu?

bonscott, I figured out how to Auto-Record future broadcasts using a keyword. But how do I remove it? I set it to Auto-Record "Casino" but now it is recording anything with Casino. I can't figure out how to remove it from the Auto-record wishlist, how do I do this?

It should have added it to the Prioritizer (i.e. the season pass manager) and you can remove it there. May be able to edit it as well.
