I am in mid-michigan using a GTMedia ATSC 3.0 Tuner and i get all the NextGen broadcasts 12.1, 66.1, 66.2, ABC, FOX, NBC, but on WNEMDT 5.1 i do not get the CBS broadcast. Instead i get an interactive "APP" with on demand stuff, but no live broadcast. I was gonna call the station on Monday, but thought I would ask here. Somebody probably knows. Is this normal, there is no actual CBS broadcast there, just this interactive APP? Or is my equipment, GTMedia player the problem?

Sounds like an issue on their end. Call them Monday. You should have the local CBS
Yeah, the regular CBS signal ATSC 1.0 is there but I see no broadcast for NextGen ATSC 3.0, just the interactive APP in the 527 MHz

It been this way for at least 2 weeks, hard to believe they dont know about it, but I will call them Monday. I want my NextGen TV lol

The WNEM CBS ATSC 3.0 channel, is encrypted. Are you sure your receiver is up to date with firmware, is on your LAN, and is receiving the other ATSC 3.0 stations that aren't encrypted?

I only have an HDHR 4k Flex, and can receive the others, but the WNEM 3.0 signal is encrypted on the WBSF RF23 lighthouse.

Yep, I am receiving all the other ATSC 3.0 stations. They are all on the same Freq 527 MHz. Not too sure if my GTMedia player is up to date as far as firmware, and I am using WiFi and that is good too. The GTMedia I believe is supposed to handle encryption, but I dont think that's the problem anyway. I am getting the interactive App with the on demand stuff and I can watch that. So if encrypted the player handles that (the on demand stuff). But i want the live broadcast and it doesn't appear to be there.

But maybe because the channel is encrypted it won't play the live broadcast, and instead reverts to the interactive app which is not encrypted? Seems kinda ridiculous, but stranger things have happened I guess.
