World cup info on dish

YAY! World Cup tomorrow in 4K HDR 540-2 9am-11am MST. Watch out how the timer gets made. I selected the 4K channel and got a timer for the local Fox channel.

CORRECTION: Just tried to make another timer and got a Fox channel. Then went to check for timers. None set at all.

Wonder how this is going to work?

FOUND THEM!! At the top of the timer list where one would not expect them. I have timers for all kinds of channels. Will just have to wade through them and see if I can get the 4K HDR to record.

Did a blind sampling and no timers are set to record off the 540-2. Just Fox Channels. Even though there are no Fox timers and one set for 540-2.

OK. Got that sorted by add and deleting . . . Now how to find out how to have them record on the EHD instead?

You can’t record them directly the EHD. You can transfer them later.

I forgot to refresh the page... my bad Bobby!

On a lighter note... my dogs name is ladybyrd... named after “Goddamnit Bobby... what’d ya do to Ladybyrd”

No commentators on 540-2 ?
I'll start, I just watched a few minutes, it's recording, and it looks spectacular! It is 4K and HDR10. I find the HDR10 interesting because it is being transmitted in HLG. It looks like the folks with early 4KTVs that do not have HDR capabilities are out of luck again. The same for 4K Joeys unless we get a report that the 4K Joeys can now do HDR.

It did look great. Ball movement was a bit blurry at times. I'll have rto go thru my TV settings before the next match
