Your Backyard Temperature

Now snowing, and a much larger area along M-66 North included in the Power outage map from Consumers' Energy.

Still on generator, as are the neighbors!

As of this writing, the number of REPORTED outages for Ionia county is 6500, and climbing. The consumers' map
is very slow to respond, and wait times for reporting outages are long, thus the numbers will likely climb before
they significantly go down.

It's "Programming as usual" this afternoon on the air, and as long as we have internet service!

Stay warm!

It was 72 last night around 2 AM before the wind storm blasted the area. Very unusual for this time of year. Saw Jim Cantore post on Facebook earlier today that in one location in NY it was 34 and another location it was 70 which were only 15 miles apart.

I hear Jim had to get a refill of fuel to keep the station on the air. Let's hope he get power back soon!

Lets also hope that if Consumers Energy wants to run ads they have a better ad (or ads) then last time. Man I hated that ad! :D

Here in Connecticut, kind of windy but warm, currently 61 degrees.

Currently 34 degrees, but it will be dropping like the ball in Times Square to around 24 degrees by mid afternoon. Yes folks its warmer now then it will be mid day today.

42 here, but only supposed to hit 44 for high today then dropping like a rock here too.

we had a cold front:

Weather in Hutto, TX:

Waiting for the "deep freeze" of the next couple days. Highs in West Central MI only the teens for a bit.
Just got the propane bill. $3.64/gallon, but needed...keeps the generator fueled when Michigan is "in the black" as
much of it was last week. EEK!
