No, it's not Absolute.

Does anyone know what changes would trigger switching my package to a "currently available option"? Adding the muilti-sport for Redzone? Swapping a 508 for an owned 211? Adding the DVR option to said 211? None of the above?

Nope, Top 250 without locals. Would rather keep it that way than give them another $6 a month for something I already get much better from Comcast.

Err- Not in my experience.

If I were to sign up today for that plan (or maybe move to another plan), I would have to get locals. But I've made no changes (except to add HBO/SHO) and I must be grandfathered in my AT250, since I do not get and do not pay for my locals. They are of little use to me. I'm happy with my OTA setup. Now, if they added MPT......

Or is this a backhanded way of telling me I have a surprise waiting for me at home, and in my next bill?

Called Dishnet yesterday to ask why I wasn't receiving locals when I'm subbing with 250 channel package. Answer was because I wasn't paying for locals. I was grandfather into the old packages but if I convert to the new 250 package I would have to pay $5 more. That is either package $5 more. No thanks I'll stay with OTA.
