I am trying to watch something on YouTube on my Joey 3. The YouTube app is only an option on the Hopper. Do I really have to upgrade to be able to have that app?

They may charge a custom work order fee but I presume the CSR roulette member you talk to will determine if there's a fee or not and if it can be waived

You do not actually bnred the plus to get a Joey 4.

Agreed that you don't need the plus to upgrade to Joey 4.
The only "advantage" would be having a common user interface on all sets.
I am assuming that the disadvantage is that you lose multi-view. I'm assuming that the plus does have PIP now since it's been rolled out to the Joey 4s now. Perhaps someone can confirm that.

I am also pretty sure that the plus flags all output as HDR, like the Joey 4 does.
This means that you will using your HDR picture settings for everything, which is not ideal. You probably only want that high of a brightness setting for HDR.
The work around is to disable enhanced the HDMI setting on the TV, so you can use SDR optimized picture settings.

DIsh told us we could have gotten our joey 4 for 109.00 installed no contract and owned no contract!!! As we paid more at solid signal
