NBA 2011-2012 Season

Damn Heat fans...the freakin' rich idiots that go to be seen..and not see the game. Piss me off! The real fans, the ones sitting in the upper levels, get there BEFORE the national anthem.

Still not a comfortable lead over the Spurs for the best record in the West. And the Spurs have the tie-breaker. Chicago has the best overall record, but maybe OKC can nibble away at that on Sunday. :)

The Celtics have moved into first place, which means everything to them because if they enter the playoffs in first, they will "only" have to beat the conference first place team and the winner of the second versus third, whereas if Philadelphia wins the division, the Celts would likely be bracketed to have to beat the first, second and third best teams.

The Celtics have lost five "bigs" in the last two seasons: Rasheed Wallace, Shaquile O'Neil, Jermaine O'Neil, Jeff Greene and Chris Wilcox. What has saved this team and allowed it to win more games than it loses is that a nobody named Greg Steimsma is giving them a solid fifteen to twenty minutes a game, which keeps Garnett fresh and out of foul trouble.

LINsanity is done for the season. Out 6 weeks.

The Celtics beat the "team without a heart" by nineteen and even led by twenty-nine before bringing in a bunch of guys that no one had ever heard of.

One down, but their next six opponents are San Antonio, Chicago, Indiana, Philadelphia, with those first four games being played in five days, followed by games against Miami and Atlanta. The Celtics will be playing an incredible 11 games in 15 days, and without Pitreous.

The Celtics are playing much better down the stretch drive, but they're a win one playoff series team at best. IF they get through the first round, the C's will bow out of the playoffs to the Heat or Bulls in 5 or 6 games.

Either way, nice win today.......especially for a team that's "irrelevant". ;)

another embarrassing blow out loss by the HEAT on the road. i don't see how they'll suddenly turn it on for the playoffs. you're so close to having home field advantage throughout the playoffs and you just don't take advantage of it. especially when you consider your issues on the road. anyway imo OKC is the best team in the NBA right now. they've spanked the two beasts of the east.

the big 3 didn't do so good yesterday while EVERYONE else continues to struggle. not pressing the panic button yet but definitely a little worried. :/

AND you shouldn't press the panic button.

In the playoffs, everyone gets the same amount of rest, everyone gets the time to make offensive and defensive adjusts, something you can do in a half, just about the entire roster is healthy most of the time, everyone's roations on offense and defense shrink to about 8 players total...as oppose to the usual 10. And finally, NOBODY gives away anything they might want to save for the playoffs on defense on offense. IF you think that Spolestra in the playoffs is not gonna put Lebron on Rondo...especially when he was getting his game off, your crazy.

Playoffs are a different animal.

We just need to get everyone healthy and rested.
