Haven

Haven was renewed for both this and next season. I believe they shot both seasons at the same time. I don't think Mara and the troubles are going away anytime soon.

I actually thought the show was ready to wrap up at least a season ago but I'm still watching for now.

They could have easily ended it at the end of last year, the way it played out.

That would be the wonderful Emily Rose, I've liked her since I first saw her. (Haven and Jericho I think it was.)
She does a Great job !

IF the Troubles are "wrapped up" the show will no longer exist ... Haven will be just another quaint city in Maine ...

Agreed. The troubles end in the series finale, and I predict it now.. even then, there will be some hint that they aren't gone. :)

And yes, the lovely Emily Rose. She played a small role with Jennings and Rall in season 2 of Jericho, but her tv career started a few years earlier. But Haven has definitely shown her acting chops in seasons 4 and 5, although I still miss the trouble-killing girl next door from the first 3 seasons, without all the makeup.

I had fallen way behind on Haven, so I did not see Season 3 and 4 in "real time," but in "netflix time," and I was taken aback at first by the dramatic change in her appearance, not as Lexi, but as a woman who had had a baby in between seasons. She just looked different. It took a few episodes to get used to her. Kind of like the pre and post-baby equally lovely Amanda Tapping from SG-1.

Just finished watching last nights episode ....
I think this is the first time I can remember that a Trouble wasn't solved in the same episode.
I think this was originally thought to be a two parter, seeing the Episode name for this week and next is the same.

Don't forget, next Friday Haven is on at 7 pm.

That was a good episode. Now, was Mara really pretending to be Audrey? If she wasn't, then Audrey had a lot more control than she had before.

The flash back to the early episodes make me want to go back and start from scratch. I own the whole series on iTunes.

I have watched it since the beginning ... have enjoyed it all along.

I think Audrey IS in there, somewhere and they will run this episode thru the entire season, unfortunately.
William will show up late in the season again to add more wondering ...

Yeah, I am convinced Audrey is still in there too, and yes, I grow convinced we will have to deal with Mara the entire 13 episode run. But unlike in early seasons when there was just one trouble after another but nothing gluing the episodes together (and there were some bad episodes), at least we have a "serial" series going on. Yet it does not make it any easier when after 13 episodes we don't get a 2 month hiatus, but instead, a year... Damn you LOST and Battlestar Galactica for setting us down that path.

Well I say Nathan takes Hot looking Audrey and Duke get bitchy Mara. Everyone grab your partner and dosey, doe. But I bet they can't kill Mara, without causing Audrey's death as well.

That would make sense seeing thats what was happening with them this week, however that was with that particular trouble ... then again, the two are linked together so, its possible that Audrey would die as well if Mara was killed.

Finally got to watch it. Enjoyed it, and now the second half of the half-season should be very interesting.

We still don't know what the vision Dave/Vince have now both seen meant, nor who the "evil" creature is. Should be interesting. And somehow ole Duke needs to get fixed. Good stuff.

LOL - Dosey, doe alright! I think it will be a true test of how closely the production crew pays attention to detail, if Audrey gets rid of all the mascara, while Mara keeps it, when they super-impose the two together as you know they will do.

Finally saw this week's episode. Pretty good. But classic Haven twist. Get Mara back, send Nathan "out of phase" as they would say in Star Trek. :)

Yes, I found it very interesting ...
Once again, they run a trouble over more than one show, I like that.
It use to be , you always knew it would get resolved somehow.

Audrey not being Immune to the troubles is gonna really complicate things.

I enjoyed the end to this trouble, but am not convinced the story added enough to merit a 2 episode arc. It was definitely an interesting and fairly original trouble. Kind of liked that part.

But the show is progressing nicely, and I sure like having Audrey back, even though Mara is still quite the character, and I am unsure where that will end.
