Maybe, maybe not. I agree with his hypothesis that DirecTV will light them up before announcing them. That's D*'s MO, historically. They'll announce it "soft" on Sunday's Emmy party, then a true announcement next Tuesday/Wednesday.
We shall see - I have only posted what I have been told - he has not changed the info passed on to me, so I haven't.
If its right, it gives credibility to my source, not to ME. If it's wrong its the reverse.
He has been 100% on his HD local info I have posted so far - that much I know for fact.
If I was 'scared' of being wrong, I wouldn't have posted it in the first place. It's not that important to me really.
I don't know if this means anything but I ave some different Charges/Changes on my recent activity today.

I looked at my recent activity too,But nothing Odd on it. And I say atleast the 26th of September. Thats my Guess. I hope I'm wrong.
Nope, Still nothing like that. The only thing I thought was odd that I didn't see before is ,in "MY Programming" it says "For Engineering Only $0.00 HR20" What ever that means?
I also have the engineering only $0.00 charge also. I just hope all this means new HD this week.
The "For Engineering Only" is access to the VOD beta (but you must have downloaded software 0x190 and activated it...later & earlier versions do not allow entry to VOD).
I hope so too, because I upgraded all my Directv packages already.And Down Graded E*,I still kept Cinemax,And the HD pack on E* though.
I've not Downloaded anything on my HR-20 since the last National release over 3 months ago,So anything thats been downloaded is National.
They tagged a lot of accounts incorrectly (and missed those that were waiting for access), so you probably just have the access, but don't have the correct software....you will soon (November?)...
I have premier package with D* and just got my waivers for the DNS HD locals so hoping to dump TWC (which I had just for HD Locals). Plus need to get my PSU fix with the Big Ten Network.
I thought everybody who has the HR20 connected to the Internet and has run a system test got the engineering charge. I know I don't have any of the CE releases on my HR20 but I do have the engineering charge. I also have my HR20 connected to the Internet.
I have the 0X18a software also for my hr20-700. I have bad experiance with beta tessting other D* products years ago and just don't like taking chance bricking a machine that is working well.
