Visionsat IV200 PVR Plus

Plus, there is a menu option to save that info to the hard drive (or thumb drive).

Well, I think there was on 115.... maybe I don't remember either.

I see there is now a 119 Factory BIN. I was wondering if anybody had any details on what the delta is for the new version.

Iceberg provided me with the differences for 112 to 118 here
http://www.satelliteguys.us/1113824-post105.html

Just looking for what changed for 119. Anybody know?

I looked on the Visionsat website and can't find download section anymore.

119? where?

The factory web site still has only 112. - :(

Where did you see/hear that there is a 119?
PM me if it's somewhere off the beaten path.
I've looked at a couple of unscrupulous places, and they only have Factory 118.
...and any search with 119 in it, gets lots of unwarranted hits. :)

found it...havent tried it but might this weekend

I don't know where you got the file from but when I tried to extract it it had errors. Think I will wait.

It may be a coincidence, but the box just locked up on me, in channel list mode, after blindscanning Galaxy 11. It seems frozen in "list" on the receiver. Recycling power on the back switch, brought everything back up.

[edit] Locked up again, and stuck in "list " mode . Recycled power and back up. I'm going to auto scan Galaxy 11, all channels, and see how it works. My blindscan was FTA only and only got 4 channels.

Lockups are on two channels of G-11 only, and they are both 4:2:2 feeds picked up on the blindscan. Another 4:2:2 feed on g-11 is picked up fine ( audio only, of course ).
The problem channels are labelled "Calhoun" and "Calhoun Florida" , 12171 V 13230, and 12186 V 13230 , respectively.
The IV200 identified the SR on each as 13219 . The SR symbol rate is from TSreader and the skywalker-1. TSreader picks up the 12171 feed , but not the other.
Apparently just two problem channels, maybe related to the SR error ?

[edit] The Merc II finds both channels "Calhoun" and Calhoun Florida", at 12170V13250 and 12188V13250 , respectively, and has no problem giving the audio of those 4:2:2 feeds. The IV200 still locks up.
[edit] IV200 ver 1.18 ALSO locks up on these channels, so it's apparently not a new problem, just one that we wish would go away. :(

I loaded 1.19 also - no suprises - but just would be nice when you see these code update you can get a change history. Would be nice to know - going back a level.

I am a programmer by trade and ususally we do not release code without giving a readme or a change history. Just noticed most manufacturers never do - not sure if they get notes from the Developers directly and leave it up to the moderators or Forum owners to accomplish that.

Just another quick question - does any of the moderators here or other sites have a regular dialog or can report problems with any receivers directly to the mfg/developers???? Or does the User go direct to Mfg and wait for an answer? Not complaining but sure looks like that support direct back to mfg is non-existent.

Factory Firmware V140 is now available at Visionsat Official Company Website adds multi-CAS subscription card compatibility for Viaccess and Irdeto. Yes, finally a PVR compatible receiver for TAN TV subscribers!

Haven't tested for resolving the lock-up issue, but will try to test in the next few days ..... Anyone want to see if this firmware fixes?
