By the way, isn't that name just a little confusing? By PAL I'm sure they meant "friend" and not the European TV standard, but some might think otherwise.

But there hasn't been a software update for the 622 or 722 since February.
It's been discussed in the HD forum.

how does a "card swap" work for "movers"? do "movers" have a billing address and a service and the card is sent to the billing address?
hmm... time for my 942 to have an "accident".
And since I own the 942, would a 622 replacement be owned or leased (not that it matters, since all resale value on it is now gone
)?

For those wondering the DTV PAL logo alomost looks like a ripoff of the Tivo Logo.
Its a TV Set with antennas on the top which spell out DTV.
The word PAL is on the screen.

This is wrong. All of these receivers have the smart card slot. Once a new card is inserted in this slot, the built in smart card will be disabled.
During the last card swap, the replacement card for my 721 was sent to my billing address.
Oh God, you're right. Lack of sleep, the dog peed on my leg, the sun came up in the west, etc., etc., whatever lame excuse to explain my brain-lock there.
