Novelas is a Spanish-language cable/satellite channel. It broadcasts only Mexican telenovelas (soap operas) produced by Televisa, which owns the channel.

I doubt that they'll turn on Uni-HD for the Essentials customers. When they had it for the last Winter Olympics it wasn't officially part of any HD package, yet, so it they put it in MPEG-2 for everyone.
I'd like them to prove me wrong, but I'm not holding my breath for them to light Uni-HD for everyone this Summer.

This makes me sad. SD PQ is atrocious on CSNBA a lot of the time. I guess it just means I'll be watching a lot less baseball on TV this summer. I really hope this is fixed by the start of hockey and basketball in the fall. Seeing commercials telling us to watch in HD on D* and Comcast during telecasts is aggravating.

I think that's the worst part, that D* and Comcast both have this channel in HD and we suckers with E* have to watch the crappy picture in SD.

What about Disney Channel? I rarely if ever watch Disney Channel but I found myself watching The Incredibles on there this weekend. That would be Incredible in HD.
What is the source of this information ??
I can't find any evidence of more than one Telemundo station that can broadcast in HD (channel 52 in Los Angeles seem to be the only one).
Perhaps you meant to put the "Telemundo Affiliates" on the SD line ?

Chances are that you won't see any HD video of the Olympics on ESPNews (or any non-NBCU station, for that matter) unless it is days after the event has aired (at which point it will be old news b/c of the time difference). NBC doesn't let anyone have video, much less HD video, for highlights so expect to see lots of still photographs and results screens. (Though last Olympics I seem to remember ESPN only reported on them after all the baseball highlights). There may be some at NBColympics.com, but expect the on-air highlights to be few and far between. This, from an article written shortly after the last Winter Olympics:
"We were limited by highlights restrictions, as well as not having any camera access to the Olympic Village, venues, or most press conferences," explained Vince Doria, senior vice president and director of news for ESPN. "We understand the scope of the event and would like to have done more."

Sorry, correct. Telemundo is for Spanish feeds (SD feeds). I always try to put my sources at the bottom of each post.
