No box ... what will happen ??

So I have the cable line running directly into my HDTV with no box. Will there be any change when all the channels go digital in 1/09 ?? Thanks.

OTA goes digital in 2009 not cable. BTW what type of tuner does taht st have. If youhave a QAM tuner you are all set even if your cable system goes all digital (unless they scramble).

It does have a QAm tuner. Most of their HD channerls are already scarmbled, except OTA.

if it has a qam tuner you should be ok as they are not supposed to scramble those channels just cut the analog feed
