I noticed starting with Ep 8 (two weeks ago) it is now in HD. I did not catch it when originally aired. Started watching reruns and am hooked. Pleasant surprise.

Back on air July 10th ... (Thursday) 10-9c for those that have not yet set a timer ;)

Am looking forward to it - one of the better written shows that does not necessarily take itself so seriously.

:)

Tomorrow night's the night...definitely want to echo the sentiments of jokeworm...well written...has some definite dark undertones which are great, but they are lightened by the wonderful backdrop that is miami, great setting for a show...also bruce campbell is a scene stealer. looking forward to tomorrow night.

Will I screw up by watching the Season Two Opener prior to seeing any other episode ?

I have visitors this weekend, who casually mentioned that they missed it on Thursday night because they were traveling, and I have not seen any episodes of this at all.

So, I was thinking of DVR-ing one of USA-HD's endless repeats (tomorrow morning) and then watching it with them.

I ask because series vary in this ... for example, it would be a mistake to watch Deadwood starting with Season Two (rather than starting at the beginning), but no problem watching Monk (another mildly good USA show which resumes this month) episodes in any order whatsover...

Jokeworm's taste is usually pretty good, and "does not take itself so seriously" is always a plus, so maybe this will be a good summer addition...

The season finale was kind of a cliff hanger. So you'll be a little lost, but they always have the recap at the beginning of each show, Enjoy!

Ask your friends to fill you in on character history and you should be fine.

The first two eps have been gold IMO...great action sequences (the fake shootout, the scenes at the counterfeiter)...in response to the above poster, one of the better attributes about this show is thats its a good hybrid between serial and procedural...pretty much anyone can pick up at any episode and get right into the show..

The first two eps have been gold IMO...

excellent - I'm still way behind on my DVR stuff .. I've got the first two waiting for me .. should get round to them by Tuesday/Weds ...

This Tour de France coverage is taking up the majority of my TV time right now ... i'll have to squeeze in Burn notice between the TDF ending and the Olympics starting ... i've told my wife that she will need to book the tv well in advance if she wants to catch up on her "ghost hunters" show ...

:)

It's about time someone other than myself watches Burn Notice. Freakin' GREAT show. Hot chicks, fast cars, sharp knives, loud guns, great fight scenes and a little spy 101 in EVERY episode. Like the other guy said, "What else does a guy need"? Spread the word!!!!!!!!!
