can i use channelmaster software ?

For normal editing the Coolsat/Diamond files, channelmaster is fine. Loading the receiver, I just use the USB port on the Diamond.

To do any type of DVB-S2 editing you WILL HAVE to use the Diamond channel editor. I would take the file from the Coolsat, load it in channelmaster to change whatever I want, then load it in Diamond's NDF Editor program, add the S2 I wanted, save that file to a usb stick and load it in the Diamond. :up

Do you think its possible to take a few pictures of the menus in the diamond and upload it to the review :) i would like to see how it compares to the old coolsat 5000 menu. its funny how they both use NDF files as channel list. maybe they have the same manufacturer ...

and you might want to make a short FAQ on channel list edit/upload for the Diamond sounds like you have that part down pat :)

Only for you, Brother George, only for you. :D:up

But I can tell you, YOU can handle it. Once you see how it works its JUST like the Coolsat, the signal and quality meters are different, but the steps are mostly the same. I had a CS 7000 and a Visionsat, and the screens are VERY similar to those, too.
