NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

Interception!

Say bye-bye to the BCS, Buckeyes!

Sandra, HD MM, Jimbo- enjoy the Outback Bowl!

I'm glad YOUR THRILLED .....

fwiw, Penn State got a few gifts to go with their win.

btw, they won't be going to the Outback bowl either

Could end up being in the Rose Bowl against USC...
If Penn State wins out they will play in Miami (possibly) I don't see them losing, this would leave the Rose for the Bucks.

Thoughts on the somewhat Late Saturday Games:

1. It wasn't pretty but Penn State did what they needed to do and win at Ohio State.

2. Alabama keeps it BCS position with a easy win at Tennessee.

3. Washington State may be the only game UW may win all year, can't wait for that thriller. :)

4. Late Night Snacks...USC at Arizona, game tied in 2nd qtr and Nevada at Hawaii, battle for the WAC's third bowl bid.

Jim,

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but consider:

given how all of you, aside from Bill, have been calling Texas Tech fraudulent, for once, I can put my head in the clouds.

Besides, you already have multiple championships for your favorite teams.

I have NEVER seen my times win any meaningful championship.

Sabres look good, Bills 5-1, Texas Tech controls its BCS destiny- I'm HUNGRY for a title- any title from my favorite teams!

See my previous post about TT.
IF they win 2 out of 3, I'll give them credit, they still have not played anyone in thier catagory. They are in the top 10, but haven't played anyone in the top 15, where I would make the cutoff at the most for top teams

Damn! You hate to lose a game on a turnover and a costly pentalty. That fumble cost us the game. The pass interference sealed the deal.

On this day, Freshman, Terrelle Pryor grew up though. He will learn from this experience and benefit from it greatly.

Congratulations to Penn State. The 30 year streak came to an end tonight. If Penn St. goes to the NCG, I'll be rooting for them. Having an 81-year-old Joe Paterno coached team finishing his career on such a high note would be a story book ending to a long and successful career.

Tell me again, how does a kid from Buffalo, NY and one who relocates to Wisconsin attaches them self to Texas Tech in CFB and when did this fandom begin?

Regardless of tonight, I STILL see this guy as a four-year stud QB. He could be another Pat White/Major Harris/Tommie Frazier

IMO, the Buckeyes need to get a couple of speed-demons at wideout for him to throw to ala Michael Crabtree. If they can get a big-play wideout, I see good things in their future.

When I saw the ridiculous passing numbers, high-scores and cool-looking uniforms on ESPN, I thought they were really cool.

Also I won a couple of PlayStation and PS2 video game tournaments using Texas Tech.

I would've loved to see Pryor be able to play with Tedd Ginn Jr. and Anthony Gonzalez. Having those weapons at his disposal would be huge.

Ok. Just wondering. Prior to this year, whenever I heard of Texas Tech, I always thought of their basketball program and past coach Bobby Knight.

Anyone check out Chase Coffman's ridiculous one-handed TD and when he leapt over a Colorado player's head?

He is THE best TE in the country, no ifs, ands, or butts.

No, I didn't see that catch.

BTW Sabres, did you know that last year's MIZZOU TE (Martin Rucker) was drafted by the Browns? He has actually been injured, but has been cleared to play tomorrow. We may finally be able to see more of him with KW2 out too.

It'll show up on YouTube eventually.

Last year, he was robbed of the Mackey Award by USC's Fred Davis, who won it because he was a Trojan.

I agree,
The turnover and the D in ability to get one, they had a few chances.

I will root for Penn State to win the rest of thier games.

If they do and Texas or Alabama stumbles they will be in the MNC game for sure.

We certianly didn't see the high powered offense tonight that everyones been oggling over, maybe thats because the Bucks played a damn good game on D and almost enough on the young Offense to win.

Look out for the offense next year, hopefully they will have more good WR's coming in.
Sanzenbacher is from Toledo and will be around for sure and Possey is a freshman.
Robiske is a SR. So he's off to the NFL
Hartline is a Jr, wonder if he will come back, that would be huge for the O next year.
Ray Small is also a Jr. and could be gone
I would imagine Beanie will be gone, but you never know.
They still will have Saine and Herron around for sure in the backfield.

:):):)

Gonzo was W A Y better and more reliable than Ginn, but Ginn has that speed they all talk about.

Roy Small is a speed burner, but I'm not sure why they don't use him more.
