NFL 2008-09 Season

The last time I recall a team winning games in ways the Colts have this year were the 1980 Browns.

They were the Kardiac Kids- these are the Kardiac Kolts.

HOWEVER, their luck will run out eventually, regardless of Manning's greatness.

Do you think anyone is good?

Yes.

Giants- I hate their guts, but they are 10-1.

Titans- Still 10-1 and could have home-field in the AFC.

Cardinals- Don't bet against Kurt Warner in January. Remember, he made two Super Bowls.

Panthers- Delhomme has reached the NFC title game both times he made the playoffs

Cowboys- They can get hot

Steelers- Defense wins championships, and Big Ben is a solid QB.

In my NFL Bottom 10- Paul, I'm sorry, but the Lions are no longer my #1.

It's the Kansas City Chiefs- Allowing a so-so Bills team to score 54 points is ridiculous.

54?

54 POINTS ALLOWED?!

Even the Lions and Rams aren't THAT BAD on defense!

It's one thing for the Lions to lose big to Atlanta or the Rams to the J-E-T-S.

But, to allow a middling Bills offense to explode... WOW.

The Chiefs are like a slutty cheerleader who allows EVERYONE to score on them.

ANYONE on this site could look like Joe Montana if they played against Kansas City's pathetic excuse for a defense.

Is ANYTHING ever going to go wrong for the Big Blue Scum?

It almost feels like NOTHING goes against them.

And, of course, everyone will say how the NFC is the Giants and nobody else.

Go ahead- declare that they are the best this year.

I don't care what anyone says; I may vote the Giants #1 in my Power Rankings (Remember, Tennessee DID lose) the way AP Voters vote college teams #1, but if you think I want them to be #1, YOU'RE DEAD WRONG!!

Mark my words- the Giants will NOT repeat as champs. THEY WILL NOT!!

The Giants sold their souls to the Devil- that's how they've become a "nothing ever goes wrong" team.

Just remember- when you gamble with the Devil, the Devil ALWAYS wins.

Just wondering, what did the Giants do to sell their soul to the devil?

miami's secondary was exposed once again today! after a few weeks of good play from back there, it all came crashing down today. they could not stop those wr's! they had to play catch up and we all know when that happens you can't afford a single offensive mistake. it was a very physical game though but the pat's made sure not to take miami too lightly this time.

Do not kid yourself. They had a couple of weeks of good play from the secondary because they played teams that have absolutely NO WRs worth didley! Haven't you noticed that against EVERY SINGLE TEAM that has good WRs, they have been manhandled. The Dolphins secondary is so-so and just above average against teams that have no WRs...against good receivers, the secondary is not very good.

Week 12: HD MM's Monday Morning QB Thoughts

1. Another impressive victory by the New York Football Giants on the road. And this time, without their #1 RB and #1 WR! My God, this team is scary good!

2. Eli without much of a run game yesterday, schooled Old-Man-Warner. He showed him that video game stat lines don't necessarily win games. Instead it's efficiency, limiting turnovers and capitalizing on red-zone opportunities that gets the job done. Old-man-river, take note.

3. With Romo back and TO getting utilized again, the Cowboys really DID miss Mr. Jessica Simpson when Brooks Bollinger and Brad Johnson had to take over. What a difference.

4. Speaking of the NFC East, no one is talking about the Washington Redskins and I would like to know why? They do everything that it takes to be successful in the playoffs including: running the ball effectively, limiting turnovers and playing great defense. IMO, this is why I rank the Skins ahead of the 'Boys.

5. Has there ever been a more clutch kicker in NFL history than Adam Vinatieri?

6. The Jets are still sitting alone atop the AFC East. They also have one of the easiest remaining schedules left (vs. Denver, @ SFO, vs. Buff, @ Seattle, vs Miami). I can't believe I'm saying this, but do we have a chance at a Subway Super Bowl? Ie: Giants vs. Jets?

7. Sabres, now do you see why you shouldn't make rash personnel changes in sports, especially at the QB position? Trent Edwards played masterfully yesterday, scoring 4 TD's (2 rushing, 2 throwing). The Bills' 54 points were the most the Chiefs have allowed in franchise history.

8. Speaking of the Chiefs, they have now lost 19 of their last 20, dating back to last year. Even the Lions have won 2 games in that span!

9. So much for the epic 0-11 Lions vs. 11-0 Titans, Turkey of a game. Come on Tennessee! Detroit held up their end of the bargain!

10. And finally, I give you all permission to rank my lowly Browns at the bottom of your power rankings. This team officially quit on Sunday. 5 turnovers, 5 more drops by Braylon Edwards and absolutely no emotion whatsoever by anyone on the team. For God's sake, our defense let a QB named after an herb pick our secondary apart! This team, from the front office and the coaching staff all the way down to the players are all in shambles. The crowd was chanting "Cowher, Cowher, Cowher" in the 3rd quarter, as a sign as to who they want to replace next year (Romeo A. Crennel). What an embarrassment to the NFL! With yesterday's lack of effort, the Browns are no longer my favorite sports team here in Cleveland. There is NO excuse in sports to EVER give up in a game! And that is what the Browns did in front of 70,000 fans at Cleveland Browns Stadium and countless amounts of Browns Backers world-wide! In summary, I'd like to quote our classy GM directly, "F*** you" Browns!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Damn...."you had me at hello.....":(;)

Look, UNLIKE my Raiders, there is ALOT of talent on that Browns teams. The problem I think is coaching. It's too damn wishing washing....hence the cry for Cowher. I thought that as the personnel got better, Romeo was getting deeper and deeper over his head.

I agree. I'm all for a coaching change.

Don't mind my angry post either. I'm sure my temper will calm by the time they play again next Sunday. For now, I want Romeo the hell out of here.

Green Bay and New Orleans don't figure in this, in my opinion, so with that a major shake-up in this weeks poll....

2. Tennessee
3. Pittsburgh
4. Atlanta
5. NY Jets
6. Washington
7. Indianapolis
8. New England
9. Baltimore
10. Tampa Bay

NOT 10:

You're being generous. If you saw the game yesterday, you'd revise this ranking.

Yes.

Still can't bring yourself to admit the JETS are 'good'? BACK TO BACK road wins in NE and TENN don't mean much, huh?
