Sound was pretty good, was happier with the sharpness. I never bought it on DVD, so it was a must buy for me.

yeah, I will say the sound field was really submersive, more detail, I think I was just wanting more

The first time I saw it was right after The Dark Knight (literally walked from one theater to the other), so maybe I was still on a high from that? At any rate, I was much closer to your diagnosis after watching it a second time... but at least I didn't waste anything more than a Netflix slot on it.

Last: Godfather Part 3 & Terminator 3- Rise of the Machines.

Disappointed Terminator didn't have a lossless audio track, but the Dolby Digital track was still pretty decent. Pretty mindless movie, but fun for what it was. A good movie to watch things being blown up. The over the top action scenes were fun to watch on the big screen. I had the volume cranked up to near reference level.
