Fox Business HD Now Live!

Is Fox Business suppose to be in a particular package? I do not have it listed on my guide at all. I have 9477 but 9476 isn't listed at all. I thought that if it isn't in my package I would a least see it in red??? I have silver package HD with platinum HD

It is supposed to be Gold. It did not show in my system until about an hour ago. It probably is not in everybody's system yet. Don'y know if it will show red or not since I have Gold.

I appreciate your reply - I wish that it would be that everyone could get all the HD they are paying for and they didn't segregate it by packages.

Off topic question, but which receiver do you have? The pic you attached shows the screen format for both HD and SD (Normal) in separate boxes. I've never seen that on my 622s. I just get one format box in my banner.

I have a 612 Im using in the photo.

it's also available to SD subscribers as well on 206. sorry if it's already been posted..... at least on my AT 250.

It is channels like Smithsonian, movies, sports, etc, that make HD worthwhile in my view

If the KKK or the Black Panthers started their own channel, would you really expect it to be added without a discussion of racism? Do you think the topic would stick to bitrates and what package they were in?

Now we have Fox News HD but what about the whole slew of HD channels Directv already has including local channels that Dish Network hasn't gotten yet? They seem to be wanting to bring in new customers for only $10 a month but not doing much to get caught up on channels they should've already had. Bad strategy for current customers that they like to lock in on contracts.

just received my new smart card, installed it with no problem,then I noticed my fox hd was gone. I called a service rep up she had to re-add fox because the new smart card was loaded before the new hd channels were on, only took a minute did a check switch rebooted the box and fox was back on . Hope this helps someone

question? I currently subscribe to classic gold 250, goldHD and platinumHD and I can see ch 9477 on my guide but it is red. I don't even see fox business news in hd just sd ( ch 206). Should I receive these two channels and should I call dish to see what is going on?

I just chatted with tier two technical support and after a few minutes fox news hd and fox business hd are up and running I just needed a authorization signal sent to my receivers I guess.

So does anybody know if you have turbo gold hd with platinum hd and locals if you are supposed to get fox business hd? I've been waiting for it to show up for a week or so and fox hd showed up in red but fox business never showed up. I see fox business in red in sd on 206 but no hint of it in hd.

I'm wondering if I should call or whether I even get it with my packages?
