I'm planning on going to Hooters to watch Wrestlemania 25. Unfortunately, as some of you may know, this requires quite a time commitment that can have one sitting on an uncomfortable wooden bar stool for upwards of 6 hours. Maybe I simply don't have enough fat on my ass, but after about 2 hours I start getting sore and keep having to stand up like a dork. Since odds are I'll be stuck on bar stools again this year, I want to get some bar stool cushions for my wife and I. I know I can probably just go on Ebay or go online to find the cushions, but I want to be able to try out the cushion before I buy them. Anyone know of any places that would have bar stool cushions in store?

Question: You want to bring your own cushions to a bar? That's a little weird.

If the seats are that bad, why don't you just stay home or find a different place that's more comfortable?

Probably because it's Hooters. They have good curly fries.:hungry:

To order WM25 (in HD of course), costs $64.95, whereas at Hooters it's free (albeit in SD.) It's also a bit of a social event with my friends, where we all go to the Hooters and eat and watch the event (as well as the other people eating there who I argue are more fun to watch than the scantily dressed servers.) Also, I don't know if you've been to a Hooters restaurant, but it isn't a bar. They just have a lot of tables that use bar stool as opposed to regular chairs. Obviously I wouldn't go into a real bar with cushions, although typically when I go to a bar with stools, they are more comfortable than the ones that are at Hooters. I'm sure it'll look a little awkward to be sitting on cushions, but I'd rather look awkward and be comfortable than look normal but feel like crap.

Since you said "I want to get some bar stool cushions for my wife and I" I figured she was going with you!

I don't tell my wife about the "Curly Fries".:D
While I have no complaints about the "Curly Fries," quite frankly I can find better "Curly Fries" via my computer that I can enjoy in the comfort of my home. What I enjoy more is the random socioeconomic groups of people that come in to eat there. It should become even more interesting once Hooters gets their full liquor license and starts serving hard alcohol.

Did someone say Hooters ?
Try their 9-1-1 sauce on the wings ! You'll never sit again ! You'll run around screaming till you find their beer tap !!! <lol> Curley fries w/cheese oh yeah !!!!! :hungry:

It sounds like this thread is going to be fun ?

Look, I understand if this is a night out with you and the friends, but if the cost of the PPV Wrestling is a part of reason why you're going to Hooters so you can see it for free, isn't the cost of these "cushions" + food + drinks going to offset that expense?

Just have a few beers, have a few of those outstanding breaded wings and your sore ass will be the last thing on your mind. But walking into an establishment like Hooters and bringing your very own big fluffy cushion and your gonna look ridiculous. :)

Ah hell, why stop there. Why don't you just bring in your Lazy-Boy recliner or sofa from home? I'm sure they won't mind. ;)

Not to bust on you, but wouldn't you look like MORE of a dork by bringing your own fluffy cushion to a bar than standing up every once in a while?

I live by the motto 'To each his own', but if you're concerned about looking like a dork, I wouldn't bring cushions to Hooters to sit on :) :) :)
