2009 NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament

It would be nice for Miami to have something else to brag about besides being the alma mater of Ben Roethlisberger.

Paul Brown, partial founder of the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals, the first head coach for both teams and the instrumental figure in the development to the NFL was also a Miami of Ohio alumni.

BU advances to National Championship Game.

Congrats Bill. :up

Even though an Oxford, Ohio team advanced to play your Boston U, I'm not too sure I'm going to be rooting for Miami in the Championship. You see, Miami is a heated rival of Ohio University. My wife and several friends attended OU and have instilled in me deep hatred towards the RedHawks.

Go get em Bill!

Matt,
thanks for the congrats, but I'm in the same boat. I attended Boston College for two years, and BC-BU is like oil-water (ESPECIALLY in hockey).

While a part of me would like to see the National Championship stay in Boston (BC won it last year), another part of me is finding it very hard to root for Boston University. :)

OIC. Thanks for the clarification. As a fan of sports, let's just root for a good game then! :)

Ummmm.
Miami is more known as the "Cradle Of Coaches" :)

Many big time coaches have coached there ...

Miami, Ohio has been called the “Cradle of Coaches” because of the many legendary men that have stalked the sidelines as a part of the football program. Famous coaches from the past include Woody Hayes, George Little, Bo Schembechler and Ara Parseghian.

Hey guy's,
I'm not up on the College hockey... the game on ESPN says National Championship.

Do they only play ONE game to decide the championship ? Not a series ?

Game has been very good so far, great up and down the ice action. :)

Boston U wins the title.

How ironic- in a wild and wacky tournament where favorites were falling left and right, the best team in the country is the last one standing.
