OK, a few minor detail mistakes.

It is $39 for 3 months, not $36.

There is a rebate for Starz on the DirecTV Starz page, and there is also a rebate for Showtime here:
Showtime Official Site :: Special Offer on Showtime! Order Now & You Can Get $25 Cash Back!

So actually, you can MAKE $11 if you sub to both for 3 months and submit both rebates. You must signup by 3/31, but have several months to mail the rebates (given they require two or three bill copies).

I have a question I do not want to renew my commitment and I am not 100% clear on the whole thing So if I change a package or use any type of promotion to get hbo showtime starz etc... will this renew it

No change to your contract. YOu are buying a premium package, and it is your choice to discontinue it. You only must keep it 30 days or they charge $10 to remove it.

Just wondering.........

Would we not be eligible for the rebates because of the Showtime/Starz package deal?

Aren't these things usually a matter of 'not valid with any other offer?'

They have always paid them in the past. Also, the Starz rebate is on DirecTVs homepage, and the Showtime/Starz promo is on the Starz page, I think we're good to go.

This almost seems too good to be true, but it looks 100% legit from DirecTV's site. Is there any fees if you cancel before the 3 months is up?
