:(

watched PSG vs Marseille this afternoon and now it's finito

the C Band TP seems to still be active but just a dark screen

It was good while it lasted

Since there was both a DVB and DCII version of the channel, I was thinking that perhaps the DCII version might not go away, but I just checked, and both DCII and DVB are black screen.

Seems like lately we've been losing lots more programming than we're gaining.
Sure hope free dbs changes this trend soon.

There is a new family channel on 101W c-band, but mine is pixilating. And I don't know why because the quality is 100% on my fortec.:rant::rant:

This was a given. Fox Soccer Channel bought out Setana a few months ago and it was well known knowledge they (Setana) wwere leaving satellite on 2/28 at midnight

I will miss the channel, especially in the summer when not a whole lot is on tv that interest me. I was hoping the feed would stay up for some reason but no luck. Thanks for the report JP, save me having to reaim to find out for myself.

So now that it is gone, and FSC+ is replacing it, how can I get FSC+ without Dish/DirecTV?

TIA!

Out of curiosity, I just checked on the DVB and DCII Setanta channels, just to make sure that they were still gone. Checked the DVB channel. Same black screen. Checked the DCII channel..... there was video there. I was just observing thumbprints with TSREADER, so I switched on VLC to see what it was I was seeing, but before I got the channel up, it had switched to a black screen that had the text "NO SIGNAL" printed on the black screen. I thought it was gone, but then, while starting to type this message, some Spanish language cooking show popped in, it had Utilisima.com in the upper right. I think they were just on a commercial break. I watched for a while as the cooking show came to an end, and some FOX screen popped up for a second along with a couple other screens, then a 2nd show started. Anyway, I have no idea of what this channel is, but it looks like they have replaced the channel that Setanta was on now with new non-sports content. I'm not sure if it's real programming or infomercials. If infomercials, it's possible that they might shift to other content during other time periods.

I thought that they were going to continue to operate in the candian market.
