Dtv & Versus

Personally I would have liked to see it moved to 214 since it didn't become part of sports pack. That would get it right there by NHLNet.

MLB alternate isn't hardly ever used anyway. If that was a factor, give VS 219.

All you NHL guys can think Dana White. I am sure the UFC event on Saturday is the only reason Versus is back on now. It created some urgency on a standstill. Glad they came to an agreement, there would have been some pissed off fans this weekend if they didn't.

Its on Sunday not Saturday.. I can only imagine Dana calling and cussing both Versus and DirecTV out..

Nah, you've got it all wrong.

Apparently these guys make some sort of drinking glass or cup that somehow forced the issue.

Look at the bright spot Jason......Monday Night we can watch the Wings beat the Pens :)

So, what's you guy's take on this? Since Vs didn't return to the Sports Pack, did DTV "win" this fight?

Did this deal affect any other Comcast issues, CSN Philly, Northwest?

Actually, Direct wanted in the sports pack. So if one using the placement alone as a measure of who one or lost, VS won in that sense.

Right, I had "mind-fade" after reading many posts over at the DBSTalk "Vs is back on the air" thread.

Doesn't matter who won, it's back on, and that's great for NHL fans, like myself.

I found it interesting after reading all of those posts over there, that the ones that were saying "It's never coming back", are very quiet in that thread :)

I wonder if VS will move to the Sport Pack AFTER the NHL Playoffs are over ?
Could it be that they made this deal allowing the NHL playoffs before moving it ?

I don't know if there has been any info released on the actual agreement, just thinking out loud.
