Having the games on Versus might be a mistake. NBC should have them all. I wonder what the ratings will be on Versus. AND SOMEBODY CHANGE THE NETWORK NAME!!

Hmmm,
Imagine that ...

Former Wings had a good part in this opening game scoring.

Thomas Kopecky scored the game winner and had an assist earlier.
Marion Hossa had an assist.

Ville Lenio had a Goal and an assist.

That was a hell of an entertaining game.

11 goals scored tonight- to put that in perspective, there were 8 goals COMBINED in the first two games of last year's Cup Finals.

Less goals = better games?

Your NOT a hockey fan ... are you ?

Best game I ever saw was a 1-0 or 2-1 can't remember it;s been a while.

Brendan Shanahan scored the game winner late in the game on the weekend of his birthday.
I think it was 1-0 against the Flyers on a Sunday afternoon.

Thats right, your the Big 12 fan, all offense NO DEFENSE

Well, excuse me if I happen to like seeing talented players put the puck in the net.

You can watch the All Star game if you want that, I prefer to see great hits and defense and Great goaltending.

I prefer to see goalies that don't look like Jr. league goalies.

You really don't like anything to do with a good defensive game do you.

Did you like Roy Halladay's No Hitter the other night, probably not seeing there was not any runs on the board.
Yup, 1-0 , that meant EVERY pitch counted !

I was watching Morning Joe on MSNBC the other day and they were going on and on about "who watches this stuff anyway?"

MSNBC- there's your first problem!

Sometimes I wonder if these glamorized airheads really do think their opinions are everyone's opinions.

Yes they do, even though they aren't.

Great game 3 tonight, Gp Phlyers.

Wow, what a game last night. I loved how during the goal review on the Flyer goal that did cross the line, while we were watching a replay on Versus you heard the crowd burst into wild cheers. McCreary was still on the phone and no decision had been made, but you could tell the crowd had just seen the camera angle that confirmed it went over the line. Fun to watch.
