Could you check and see if yours came with these Metric nuts (4) that are circled?
My order had those missing, looks like I'll be heading down to the Hardware Store in a few days and find something that will fit?

Yes they did... I was given those by hand

I could not resist picking one up at this price either. I picked up two DMX741s and a 241 when they were on sale a year or so ago with the intention of a mini-bud project. I never did that so I will try for a multi lnb setup. Does anyone know what I will need to buy / fabricate for the fixed bar that is not included since I will not be using an actuator?

Picked mine up today as well :D

Have a couple of interesting ideas for modifying the mount...
Now to find time to put it together

OK... Thanks!

The only hand I seen, was from the UPS Driver......maybe he had them in his pocket? :D:D

Oh Well.....................

You have any idea what size Metric they are?

no idea, did not fit a 3/4 socket which is the biggest I got on my tool set

Biggest metric socket I have is 19mm and its a little bigger. My best guess is 21mm although I would need to measure.

I'm not sure what they are called but those metal bars with holes in them which are commonly used for installing garage door openers would be the easiest thing

They should have been in the box. We do have have additional ones. If you call the Atlanta branch, we can get 4pcs mailed to you, however, FYI, they are 14mm with a 2.0 thread pitch.

Thanks , but I'll just pick some up at Lowes later today.

$.49 / ea
.

That works ... While you are there at Lowe's see if there is a Pole that would fit nicely into the mount. And if so, let us know the stock # if possible. :D

I'd already built the polar mount, but not the dish yet

wow, you didn't waste any time ;)

are you going to use an actuator or metal bar?

Wow, this is one awesome deal! Thanks Robby for this great deal, and the photos also as I think that will help others in assembly!

I ended up going with a 10 foot long 2 inch galvanized pipe (about 2 3/8 inch outside diameter, and about 5 feet of the pipe in the ground). I hope this is not too much slop for the polar mount (the bolts on the mount snug up to the pole no problem), and that the pipe is not too whimpy!

I am also curious if others have a hard time getting the polar mount ring lined up on the dish with the brackets (I had to do bend a couple of the brackets to get them attached).

I also had to get some 14 mm nuts at the local hardware store.

Once my cement sets I will be ready to try get my first C-band signal!

Got mine on Friday along with a 24" jack, all for $114 :) Gotta love it! Met Rob too, nice guy, can't wait to do business with em again. Unfortunately one of my scalar support arms has some rust on it, but some sand paper and spray paint took care of that...
