2010-11 NFL Season

A brutal coaching job by Reed, however, not challenging the Desean Jackson fumble. That could have decided the game, and the ball would absolutely have remained with the Eagles had he not put the red flag back in his pocket.

If the Eagles would have lost, especially if it was by a touchdown or less, calls for Reed's head would be ringing LONG and LOUD throughout the Delaware Valley. A lot of Eagle fans think the Eagles are winning DESPITE Reed.

There should be calls for Caughlin's head for his choosing to punt to Jackson, instead of kicking it out of bounds. There would have been time for one more play by the Iggles, but much less risky than a punt return.

You can't pin the non-challenge solely on Reid. Head coaches obviously have the final say, but they rely on assistants upstairs to see the replays and advise on them...

I was just talking with a friend a few minutes ago, and we wondered if Cincy would take a QB or not.

Carson Palmer is ONLY 30 years old.

Carson Palmer has looked absolutely miserable this year and since coming back from his injury a few years ago. I think the Bengals are thinking very hard in parting ways. Probably best for both parties.

But despite the fact that they are winning...he will more than get his fair share of the success for a team that is suppose to be rebuilding.

It could have also been...by the way Coughlin was talking to his punter AFTER the play...that they did send him to punt out of bounds...and that he just muffed it.

There are always calls for Coughlin's head with every loss. Doesn't help that for some reason yesterday Bill Cowher went from being rumored to wanting the Giants job to actually SAYING he wants the Giants job.

As you could see Coughlin went out in the middle of the field and dressed down his punter right after the game. You know he was telling the kid he was supposed to kick it out of bounds. Real classy Tom, real classy.

The Cowher report mentioned the Giants, Miami and Houston I believe.
I'm sure someone asked him about it, he wouldn't have just come out and held a press conference, not his way.

The Chin is overrated. He spits too much.

Yes, that was classless of Coughlin, but that's nothing compared to Cowher campaigning for SOMEONE ELSE'S job! What a turd!

Yeah, I agree Bill. I don't care if someone asked Cowher or not, you don't tell people you want a position that's currently filled. Just not right.

Sandra, how about those J-E-T-S?

Hard-fought win on the road in Pittsburgh- never an easy place to get a road win-, they finally get an offensive touchdown, and no stupid turnovers.

This was a win they needed to restore some confidence.

I don't know if Cowher would be the right choice.

He has more playoff chokes than championships (yes, he has a Super Bowl, but let's not forget the other postseason letdowns his Steelers had- how about 4 AFC Title game losses at home?)
