V: The Series (revisited)

I truly LOVE the direction the V show is headed, which is why I am SURE it will be canceled ,post haste. Every time a sci-fi show finally gets going and I like the characters ,the network is ready to drop the show. So I am sure this will be repeated once again. I only hope that ABC will film a concluding final ending that ties up the lose ends and lets the humans win again, like the original V series did.

I'm in the same boat as you, once I really get into a show, it goes off the air.

The same website predicted it being canceled last year, so take it for what it's worth.

The key is if ABC is making money on it or not. The ratings aren't stellar, so I'd be surprised if it gets renewed. But stranger things have happened, after all it got renewed last year.

Hell, they can NOT cancel it and still only show half a season and not tell anyone anything, so you THINK it's coming back in 6 months seeing the take so many breaks and never show up again and hope no one misses it.

I'm hooked & looking forward to the season finale (maybe series finale with all the cancellations as of late). The thing I don't like is how the characters talk to each other to tell you the plot or history of the show. Who talks like that? It's been getting worse lately and really stands out. I find myself laughing at them when one character is saying the plot to the other, and the reply is more of the same... Oh well, I still like it. Hope it's a good ending/pause.

NEXT week looks GREAT! I just hope that the season finale won't be the FINAL episode for this show. It is getting very good. Last years episodes were very slow and plodding but since they came back on this season, it is has been fast tracked and interesting as hell.

Yes, this show has picked up steam considerably this year.
REALLY looking forward to next week, unfortunately thats the final show for this year, hopefully it will be back next season, whenever that is.

It might have been because I have a BAD cold and feel crappy, but I thought it was slow and laborious. Like 30 minutes worth of story stretched out to 60. Oh well, maybe just me.

I think it is kind of ironic that Diana is playing the sane reasonable Queen and Anna is the despotic dictator Queen. Especially when you consider the original V had Dianna playing the same type of Queen as Anna is now. So if Dianna wins , then what happens to the V's then? Do they return to their home planet or do they take up residence as an official Alien with Green Card and start breeding with Humans?

Hopefully we'll get to find out. Imprisonment in a dungeon like the one Dianna lives in can change ones perspective, or so it seems...

One catch though?

How many humans exactly know the Visitors aren't human like but Lizard reptilian?

I'm not sure you'll have to many humans wanting to "breed" with the Visitors.

Heck you got people today against interracial marriages(I'm in one myself)or inter faith(different religions), same sex marriages, what do thing the re-action would be with inter species marriages/relationships/children?

But you got idiots in this world that are racist & discriminating, but that a side, I fear we'll never know the ending as I almost certain V will be canceled. If that comes to pas at least Warner BROS/ABC should have the decency to at least have a 2 hour TV Movie/series ending to finish it off and not be like they did with NBC and left it to your own conclusion?

I do not think that humans breed with the Vs. They seem to be implying that one human male with the upgraded DNA (Tyler) with a V queen can repopulate the species. Perhaps they somehow use all the Human women to carry the babies to term. Perhaps women of child bearing age are all rounded up and put on the V ships to be used as incubators. Maybe they are also tasty snacks for the newborn Vs (or maybe the human males are the snacks). The end result is a planet of Vs and no more humans...

Under that human hide has to be some nasty scales though. Tyler better be careful. ;)

I'm thinking that human women are somehow used as incubators (and then snacks), and human males would just be useless (like male honey bees). So the Vs kick all human males off the planet (except Tyler) and the end result is human/V hybrids populating Earth...
