This is just for those that have been or are still too hot this summer!
OMG! It is September and this is coming back soon!
There is a 3-1/2 foot high rail on that fence in the snow. but the BUD still shows!

Falls coming in our area!getting close to frost range at night by the end of this week.We in the northeast have had it lucky this summer!Only half the number of 90s we should get and that was back in june and july.

Until this summer, I wouldn't have agreed with Iceberg. But try working on a dish when its 96 or so, its a killer.

My maple trees are already starting to change color in the past week and temps forecast to dip to 40 by the end of the week.

I like the snow but don't want the snow too soon. In the Fall of 1987 here in NY we had record snowfall locally while the leaves were still on the trees and the powergrid was destroyed for weeks with downed trees. I remember waking up to the sound of breaking trees that Sunday and snow wasn't even forecast.

I'd rather work on the dish in the cold than the heat.

It all depends on the humidity. 95 degrees outside with under 10% humidity is OK.:) 85 degrees outside with Michigan humidity of 80% IS a killer.:( Must be why I like the weather in the great Southwest.:D:D Hard freeze forcast for Friday morning here. Oh, well, have to take what we get.

Thought I would add a nice Summer picture of same location. Only difference is the Hummie Bird feeder is up and the dam snow is down or gone. Cool today about 61 degrees.

Same here, as long nuts, bolts, spacers, and tools DO NOT fall into the fluffy white snow and you can't see the track in the snow where they went. Of course, the only way to find them is with your bare hand, or wait until spring! Naturally, the rarer the item (no spares) the more likely it is to fall into the snow in the first place, guaranteeing many fun-filled and frostbitten moments until you find the <expletive deleted>!!!

It is cooler here now, down from 104 degrees with 15% humidity. Two wildfires. One went to 11,000+ acres in an hour or so. No building destroyed. The other went to 3626 acres in 5 hours and about 108 buildings destroyed. That does not happen in the snow. We were under smoke for several days and packed to evacuate for at least 7 days. AND this is not Texas! I do not like the cold extreme either, however. 9 degrees with 26 MPH winds is too cold.

I was only 7 years old then, but remember that storm like it was yesterday!

Those fires this year are unbelievable! Sure hope it goes away from you. Dropped to 36 degrees here this morning. Should freeze tonight.

Glad its cooling down for you and hope its the end of the wild fires for awhile.PS I like the your avatar!Nice kitties! Its going to be a challange but im going to get a pic of my two cats together.

Here we have to wait until February for our two week cool spell. The other 50 weeks of the year the heat & humidity is insufferable..
Oh, and the mosquitoes too. We have been blessed with a new breed, the Asian Tiger. It's mean as all get out, like killer bees, swarms/bites in the daytime and spreads Dengue fever. Nice....
