i have a customer who currently has a dptwin LNB(internal switch)....hooked up to this is one SD receiver with a direct cable run, and a second HD PVR receiver with a direct cable run and a seperator at the receiver....

they are wanting 2 additional receivers hooked up so i am thinking a dpp44 or sw44 switch?????

will the current pvr with seperator work with a dpp44 switch? or will additional receivers hooked up work with a dpp44 or sw44 with seperator?

basically i guess i need the ability to connect 4 hd pvr receivers to a dpptwin lnb....can this be accomplished with a seperator at each receiver and a dpp44 switch???

You will need the dpp44, the dpp twin is NOT compatible with the sw44.
yes separators will (only) work with any DP Plus switch/LNB.

thanks....so if i have two cables from the dpp twin going into a dpp44 switch i can run 4 receivers from that? even if they have seperators at the receivers?

so i just need two wires from the dpp twin into the dpp44 then i can run 4 receivers? and how do i hook up the power supply for that?

the power inserter goes on the coax of the 1st receiver output. It goes in line wherever you can put it

Bell will not sell them to you, get them online off ebay, just search for the best price. Also make sure that the power inserter comes with the DPP44 switch. Since you have a HD PVR it will have two tuners so you are best to buy a DPP separator as well instead of running two lines to the receiver.

If you use a DP34 you CANNOT use a Seperator, so if you are feeding a Dual Tuner Receiver you will need 2 cables from the switch.

thanks,

is the power inserter from a sw44 the same as the dpp44?

i have a power inserter from a sw44 and would like to use it if possible on the dpp44
