OTA EPG Info Incorrect or Displaying 'Digital Service'

OTA (KSCW) channel that used to have the correct guide info. Then one day it changed to another OTA channel's info. KSCW is carried by dish, but not in HD.

About 1/2 of the Fairbanks, AK OTA guide is incorrect...

KATN 2-2 is CW (KWBX) not Spanish Programming as it comes up now.
K13X 7-2 is CBS in SD (K13XD) currently Digital Service
KUAC 9-4 is same as ALSKA ch 7040, currently Digital Service
KTVF 11-2 is the same as 11-2 (SD) currently Digital Service
K13X 13-1 is CBS HD (K13XD-D) currently Digital Service
K13X 22-2 is CBS in SD (K13XD) currently Digital Service

My OTA guide is now complete.

Do you have a contact person who fixed the guide? Or was it fixed by this thread?

Oh...how nice it would be if the simple posting of a thread would automatically fix an issue. But, there'd be a lot of technical support folks out of a job.

EchoStar Broadcasting Corporation
Quality Assurance Department
dishquality@echostar.com

My last contact with them was November 2011. (I started using this email address before Dish and Echostar became separate companies but the address still works none-the-less.)
There have been four separate occasions that I have used this contact concerning OTA EPG info and each time gotten satisfaction. Some times it takes several months although once it was resolved in a matter of days. Here is the response I received from my most recent November 2011 request for WMUR 9.2 ME-TV:
I will forward this information off to the appropriate department to see what can be done. As soon as I get any information on this issue, I will be sure and update you. If you have not heard anything from me in about 10 business days please email me again so that I may revisit this again.

I did have to email a second time as per request in this last case.

Glad to hear that you had some luck, I guess I'll keep trying.

I thought that was the whole point of this thread. If only DIRT would do what they originally promised when the thread was started.

The folks from DIRT don't run the company. Someone ABOVE them made a decision regarding this. I guess they could go against policy and get fired..... Would that make you happy ?

Part of the issue has become that what DIRT told us would not happen has happened in a few cases. So there is a way to get these OTA digital sub-channel epg listings done. We just haven't figured it out yet.

Case in point: After listings for Los Angeles KTLA 5.2 Antenna TV and KTLA 5.3 This TV, disappeared, DIRT said they were gone for good. They are back! KTLA is owned by Tribune, I suspect there may be a connection.

Also, Dish has recently added KDOC-TV 56 to the HD lineup. KCOP-TV 13 has recently launched Bounce on 13.2. No epg info so far. Not on Zap2it yet either.

If Dish already had the channels or sub-channels set up on their end and the station(s) made a change to the TSID, for example, once the station changes it back, the guide data will automatically re-appear. No intervention on Dish's end needed.

I emailed them and they said they were in talks with E* to get this done. Makes recording to the DVR a PITA.
