Remote control commands and channel changes delayed by 10 seconds or more.

I converted this one to x4 only with srl. It is miserable to use.

My other 905 is not like this, it still has all of its maps.

Have you tried a soft reset,unplug/wait/plug back in ? If that doesn't help you'd probably have to do a master reset. But with an MR you'll likely have to do the whole set up routine to get the X4/H2H to work again.

I would try a master reset.

After reset select satillite G0 and then CH 10. (Wait about 15 minutes and you should have X4 Sat) Attached is mike kohls step by step.

I just checked G0-10 & it wasn't there(for me anyway) G0-13 was & is a digital carrier. With your dish pointed at X4(105w)do a MR then go to G0-13(in your satellite selection, not moving the dish of course!) & wait for 15-30 minutes for maps to load. Then select satellite X4(W5) after the basic satellite maps have loaded.
Then go Options 6-0-5, then to Diagnostics C screen. Channel down until you see a 1430.00 in the middle of the screen. This is 216(Style channel). Call or go to your WebSAMS login for a hit.

I've done this a couple of times after the December cutoff with unconverted 922s ONLY doing an authorization reset. Even one with the dreaded 1920 count. It works!

I recall now that my 905 did much the same thing after a guest did too many commands too quickly while scrolling through the guide on a satellite other than X4.

After I had let it sit unplugged for a few weeks the response was much better. By then my sub had expired & so had to call for authorization, again.

Good luck with yours truckracer!
