4.2 is still Jelly Bean ;)

yeah yeah yeah, lol...point still is 4.5 or 5.0 will be out while some phones are getting 4.2...heck bionic JUST got ice cream sandwich and now 4.2 is out. :( it makes me sad as I was a believer that google could rein this kinda stuff in but it seems apple and maybe windows will be the ones without fragmentation (heck windows is yet to be seen but I think they can do it)

I must say, my S3 was giving me problems for awhile. I kept hitting this dead spot that I never had with my EVO. changed the ROM over to a custom one from Team Noctural (Mijjz, Goodness) and ever since I do not have that dead spot and have been having a lot better connection. Not to mention the speed of the phone is improved, as well as battery life. All is good. Now if only Sprint would get their LTE service here (not holding my breath).

Got tired of waiting and found an iPhone 5 at Wal mart today. Picked it up and cancelled my online order.

You go through more phones, they have meetings for people like you, one step at a time.

This implies you also unlocked the bootloader. I've read elsewhere that this is as simple as installing and booting with fastboot, then issuing the unlock command, fastboot oem unlock.

On the galaxy s2 after rooting, you got a triangle indicating you had rooted. Is that the case with the note 2?

Gracias.

Bootloader unlocked as well?

Prefer TWRP or Clockwork over most recovery options.

Really enjoying the iPhone 5. Not that it's much different than the 4s. It's the small improvements that are nice. The screen, the new os, the smoothness, and the biggest thing for me, the battery life.

I've had several phones (as most know lol ) and I am getting better battery life with this one than any I've had. I can now make a day. I've never been able to do that. Not even with extended batteries on he nexus or rebound, or the much larger stock battery of the s3. I know the maxx variants get even more and I almost got one for that reason. Still, I am pleased. Doesn't mean I won't swap to a windows 8 device, but I pleased. Lol.
