You can get an AM21 ota tuner. It MAY have that one channel available. The other easy option is the tuner in your tv. You wouldn't be able to record it, obviously.

Is this so you get your sd locals? If so, you should have gotten an sl5 lnb which would get 119.

Tech installed and sl3 I do want SD locals. I do have an sl5 from a house My parents bought a while back. Could I pop that on there and get 119?

If they have a swm setup, it's an easy swap. If not, then you would have to change the dish configuration. The right answer is to call Directv and tell them you should have gotten an sl5, but you got an sl3 instead. They will come back and swap it out for you.

Edit: This answer is wrong. If the sl5 isn't a swm lnb, then it won't work with your setup.

I do have a swm setup, I put the sl5 on and still don't get 119. Guess I'll have to call. Wish I could just get it to work myself lol

You have to have a swm setup, it's required with a Genie. How many outputs on the sl5 you tried?

This is an sl5 and should get your local channels in sd. Check your settings in the menu and make sure it is set to show all channels.

Do you show any signal strength for 110 or 119?

Slimline swm sl5, or swm 5lnb. I'm not sure how it's designated. Did you not have any signal strength for 110 or 119?

I'm trying to help you, but you aren't answering my questions. Are you getting any signal strength numbers for 110 or 119?
Your sd locals are on 119, transponder 29. Is there anything there?
