True, but it gets me thru when no other hockey is on. I watched it during commercials of the Pirates game (After the pre game ceremonies. I was NOT going to watch them raise the banner!) but switched to Center Ice once the Jets game came on.

The good news is that George is out of the hospital. Of course he is out indefinitely. But the fact that they have released him speaks volumes.

Nice to the see the Red Wings open the season with a win over Buffalo...and nice to see them playing in the Easterner Conference, although a bit strange after all these years. The best part is we get to see the Wings hit, snack and beat the snot out of the Maple Leafs on a regular basis.

It will be interesting to see how Roy does as a coach ...

MANY Stars in any sport have a difficult time as a coach as they expect every player to play as well as they did.

Ouch! Second game in 2 nights came back to bite the Kings. Periods of playing well along with mid-period lapses finally sunk them despite a fervent comeback attempt.

Justin Williams' next goal will be his 500th!!!!
