Funny that was the last time Tenn was relevant, FSU had 2 more good years before they fell off the earth like Tenn did. If you guys can come back maybe there is hope for Tenn..

Interesting BCS facts.

Counting ONLY BCS AQ Conferences..

The Big 10 has played the most BCS games. at 26 following by SEC 25, Pac 12 and Big 12 at 20, ACC at 16 and Big East at 15.

The SE, PAC 12, and Big East are the only conferences with an above .500 BCS record. The SEC is in the lead at .680 with a 17-8 record (In fairness one of those losses was to another SEC team...) The PAC12 is .680 with a 13-7 record. The Big East at .533 with a 8-7 record. The Big 12 comes in next at .450 9-11 record. The Big 10 at .462 with 12-14 record and at the way bottom is the ACC at .133 with a 3-13 record. Two of those wins were FSU.

The number of different schools each conference has sent to an BCS game is pretty close for all the conferences, even the ACC is not that far down the list. Big East and Big 12 tied with 8 different teams, SEC, Pac12, Big10 tied with 7 and the ACC at 6

Now lets look specifically at the BCS National Championship game

Number of Appearances

SEC (10) Big12 (7) ACC,BigEast,Pac12,Big10 Tied with 3.

The SEC is the only conference above .500 in BCS national title games. In fact the SEC is technically speaking undefeated... There record is 9-1 (with the one loss being LSU losing to Alabama) The ACC, Big East, Big 10 and Pac12 are all tied next at .333 win %. Also technically speaking the Pac12 vacated its only 1 win in the title game making it the ONLY major conference without a BCS title. The big 12 is lower at .286

Number of Champions The SEC has 9 BCS National Titles, the next conference up is the Big 12.. With 2. Everyone else has only 1. Except the Pac 12 (technically speaking).

So is there ANY doubt in anyones mind that the BCS Era, 1998 through 2013 was absolutely DOMINATED by the SEC. Say all you want about Bias being why the SEC got into this title game or that title game. Lets say its true and the reason the SEC got in the BCS title game was because of Biased. They certainly didnt win EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM because of biased.. Also each of the big conferences has an AQ into a BCS bowl. So they have an equal shot at winning a BCS bowl as the SEC does. Yet the SEC still dominates in that category as well.

FSU just let Duke have a Mercy TD. :D

Man, Saban and Jimbo come from that Bear Bryant school. There is almost always a pity score. The bonus for the Noles is the second string D guys get to line up against 1's and they have been doing that all year. Cannot beat the experience.

Man, Cutcliffe is an ass. People talk about how nice he is, thats two years in a row he has walked up to Jimbo pissed, shook his hand and then walked without talking. What a whiney blankety blank.

I am really torn between who I want to win Spartans or Bucks...

If Spartans win then the SEC gets a chance in the final BCS title game.. But I am not confident at all in Auburns ability to beat FSU. All the previous SEC BCS title games they were in I was 100% confident in the SEC winning the title. I was talking trash like no tomorrow about how bad the SEC team was going to win by. But if Spartans win and it is Auburn vs FSU I dont think Id have it in me to talk trash. I will still root for Auburn but man I would really hate the SEC to go down in the last BCS title game. We are undefeated in BCS title games, I dont want to end that.

If Ohio wins then they go on to be creamed by FSU. I dont care. But at least the SEC can say we were undefeated in BCS title games, and we can talk crap about how bad OSU is and how Auburn would have done so much better and beat FSU etc.. Even though in reality that is one game that would really need to be played on the field to talk that smack.

As Native Floridian and being from Central Florida I will add

GO KNIGHTS!!!!!

Got that all figured out, do ya.

Ohio State may as well let MSU win, seeing they have no change according to you.

Thats why they PLAY THE GAMES.

Buckeyes about to role the dice on 4th down. Got stuffed for no gain down 3 with the clock now working against them. SEC may get into the last BCS.

Buckeyes need a defense that covers someone ... the D Line has been very good and Freshman Bosa is a stud.

Urban needs to start calling those plays from the Spread when people are open instead of the same predictable , Miller up the middle, Miller to the right, Miller to the left, particularly on 3rd down.

New week, new target. Too many people live in the past. Thats what I personally reboot every year and do not at all focus on what happened last year.
