I know it's early but since my team is done for the year I'm already excited for the off season. I'm one of those sports geeks who actually watching all of the NFL combine and every round of the draft. I've already started to read up on what the experts are think for their own mock drafts.

Since it's on my mind already I thought I'd see who else is thinking about it. I'm curious who you think your favorite team is going to draft and where your favorite college players are going to go.

So far from what I've been reading I'm seeing a lot of QBs going early in the draft. One person actually has 5 out of the first 8 picks being QBs. I hope it turns out that way so some of the other talent can drop down to the Bears. Now that they have their QB signed the Bears can focus solely on defense. I think the Bears are going to pick a linebacker or D-lineman first.

Here are the biggest needs for the Bears, kind of in order of importance:
OLB
DT
DE
FS, SS
CB
QB

As you can see they need help at every position on defense.

My predictions for our local lions: They will stink. :) Sent from my iPhone using SatelliteGuys

Lions sound like they are gonna take another WR, instead of trying to fix a decimated Defense or O line.

I saw that also. The reason wasn't bad though. That offense was considerably worse without Calvin Johnson starting.

That and they want a #2 WR to have more options other than Calvin, although they have Burelson and Pettigrew and Broyles.

They are wondering if Burelson will sign with them at a decent figure, He said he wants to come back.
Pettigrew I think is a FA and Broyles has injury issues.

Even though they are in the playoffs, here are a few things the Eagles need to address in the draft and FA.

S
CB
OLB
DT
Possibly WR

IMO, the Patriots biggest needs are

1. outside receiver (unless Josh Boyce continues to develop)
2. hard hitting safety
3. tight end (can't even believe I just typed that)

Yeah I say if you don't have a second solid WR, while I think Nate Burelson appears is ok, why then is hen the team. Either play like a number 2 or lets move on. Figuring there other WR's are not good at all or hurt all the time.

It's kind of funny they talk how great the lions offense is, but when you step back it's really not much outside of Calvin Johnson stafford is becoming the Dominique Wilkins of the NFL, all those passing yards don't really do much

I'm not so sure it's the players on the team. I agree that they have a ton of talent. I think they have done a great job of drafting the last few years. What they have failed to do is put together a good coaching staff that can lead these players. The lions have very little leadership.

While Ireland is running things, there really isn't any point for us Fin fans doing this. The play time we gave to our drafted players in 2013 was a Joke.

Johnny Manziel
should the Browns take him if he's there ?

not ready to make that call yet...... but would be hard to pass him up.

That seems to be where experts expect him to go. I myself wouldn't want him on my team but maybe it could add a spark to the Browns.

the experts are not that great at the QB picks imo
Brady,Brees,Roethlisberger,Romo,Cutler,Dalton,Wilson, Manuel, all were under rated some less than others but all.

what do all these players have in common (save Cutler) the Browns PASSED ON ALL OF THEM.

I agree that most early drafted QBs do not pan out. One of the reason's I wanted the Bears to sign Cutler again. Most of it comes down to coaching and QB development.

really Cutler lers are hard to come by. and as Bears fan heck yea you guys have been where we are.

Oh i missed Aaron Rodgers again

thats half of the best QB's in the league. at least none of the jokers we drafted went somewhere else and shined.

You could add Foles to that list. That said,my personal opinion on Manziel,he is Colt McCoy 2.0.He could be a decent QB but taking him in the first round is a huge risk.

Falcons - easy, an Offensive Line so that Matty Ice isn't running for his life all the time.

You are correct,I'm not sold on Steven Jackson either. An explosive rb with play making ability would give them a new dimension. And of course they will have to address TE.

Falcons have some big needs this off season. OL is a must and they need a RB. I myself think RBs are the easiest to draft as they all see to have so much talent and can produce right away. The QB position is by far the hardest. The OL seems to be a tough one too, you see a lot of linemen that never live up to their draft status.
