Apple WWDC Discussion Thread

"Free for all in the Fall" brings up something quite different in my mind.

"...12:47 "Nearly half of our customers in Chine for the last 6 months switched from Android to iPhone"...."

I sure didn't see THAT coming! Ka-ching!

Hmm I don't know how accurate that is Apple likes to over state things.

QuickType - might be interesting. TextEdit, if they release it, will be VERY interesting to me.

so far, OSX seems to be the big winner. Really small changes to iOS, but I don't think iOS is broken, so, kind of makes sense.

"...With iOS 8, you'll be able to say "Hey Siri", and it will activate Siri...."

THIS interests me!

I've never used Siri, but if I don't have to press a button, I'll try it.

Yeah I like the Family Share stuff, that will be used a lot in my house.

Why didnt they made it so that like the PC... if your on your ipad and your phone rings why cant you answer the phone on your ipad?

Well, I guess this means the stories about no iOS 8 for the iPhone 4 & iPad 2 are true.

"...A new beta-test service is also coming - TestFlight. Devs can invite users to test their apps and get the results...."

Gee- I wonder if a certain forum app in Limbo might have use for this? :D
