On a roof in Wisconsin
Is anyone on this forum located in Wisconsin, and have Fox Detroit? I recently signed up for Dish and they black out every single tigers game... If I'm able to watch them on Fox Detroit with DirecTV, I'll switch immediately...

FWIW, tonights game is on ESPN for you.

Only way to get Tigers games in Wi is to get the MLB EI, or MLB.tv. If you get Directv and buy the sports pack, you will also be blacked out for Tigers games, you are not in the Tigers territory.

FSND is on 103 Sat Trans 14, if you know anyone with D* have them cha=eck that Transponder, however it could be used for a closer RSN at that location as well, that IS a long way.

So, the MLB EIO doesn't count for Out of market games ?

OK can you explain why when I lived in Ohio, an hour south of Detroit, DirecTV showed every game on Fox Detroit, but Dish blacked out every game, on the same channel? It doesn't make sense to me. I work for dish, manager/installer, and I've had several customers cancel their install because they found out they wouldn't be able to get the tigers games

What was your zip code in Ohio? Within an hour of Detroit is in market for Detroit. Wisconsin is in market for the Brewers.

If you get MLB EI, You pretty much get every game broadcast on an RSN, along with some OTA games but not all. That's what you are paying for.

Awhile back I was Not getting the Tigers either, but Toledo residents were, I contacted a guy from FSN Detreoit and we contacted D* and he went thru his contacts in LA and about a week later I had FSN Detroit, it came down to a zip code issue.
Seeing I'm 43560, its technically not in the Toledo zip code area, but it buts up to Toledo, once I got that cleared up, all's been good since then.
