WOOOOOO HELL YEAH !! Boise St lost!!!! Fumbled ball tied at 28 into the end zone! Safety!! Go Wyoming!!!
Love it - got them out of any playoff talks!

They were in playoff talks? Where ?

Ohh you know how ESPN is - they talk them up every year after playing nobody. blah blah blah so glad they are out of it, out of any new years 6 bowl talks etc... its great!!! Even better to see a team like Wyoming finally beat them and have the record they have.

Top 5 to me after watching would be Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Louisville and Washington.

Issue with that is LV being in the top 4 when they won't win the conference title.

I don't think any team should get into the playoff without winning their Conference - in fact whoever wins the Conference should get in.
If you have 5 Conference title winners then the highest ranking top 4 play in the playoff. They could fix that by going to the 8 team system which is what it should have been to start with.

Lol the polls are such bs... Louisville loses to the #3 team in the country and is #5 yet OSU loses to a unranked Penn St team and is #6 - really?
We all know who loves who apparently.
VT beat UNC whom beat FSU - yet UNC is # 18, FSU #19 and VT is #23 -- this is just laughable.
I sure hope the voters for the playoff Committee are smarter.

I know you hate OSU but m they have beat a top 10 Oklahoma team (at the time) as well as a #8 Wisconsin team, and play a Nebraska team next week as well as a #2 Michigan team later.
So it's not like they are not playing anyone ....
Clemson continues to stay up there while squeaking by, Bama plays teams in the polls just like OSU does, if Bama loses, they won't drop far.
AND Penn State IS ranked now that they beat the Bucks.

Also, you can't play the, this team beat that team, which beat another team as teams change thru out the season, a team that looked great early, may not be playing as well now, could be back to looking great later on.

Twitter and rivals rumors have major upheaval at Tennessee. Rumor is two of their star players have quit.

Doesn't surprise me about Hurd - heard some talks from some students at Bristol about how he was with Tenn.

As for the playoff Polls tonight - I've got mixed reviews here. I'm for one content with where VT is certainly supposed to be ahead of UNC and FSU unlike the stupid AP polls. I feel Louisville should have been ahead of Ohio State based on who they have lost to vs who they played.

Pulling or Auburn to win against Bama this year and slip Clemson in at #1 - be nice to see VT beat that #1 team in ACC title game around say #10ish and hmmmm sneak into #4??? :D
Wishful thinking but hey its very very possible.. lots of ball left to play.

Lots of wishful thinking there.
In the last week for a team to jump from 10 ish into the top 4 would be ridiculous ...

Louisville ahead of Ohio State ?
Ok, as long as the Bucks are in the top 6, thats pretty much where they belong with a loss.
You make it sound like Louisville has played murderers row ...
They lost to Clemson and beat an overrated FSU team.

With the loss the Buckeyes have had in previous seasons (1 in each season recently in the regular season) they have gotten MUCH better in following games ....
IF they continue that progression, they will be right there at the end.
However, if they don't improve as expected, they could end up with 2-4 losses this year .
1 more loss and they are done with the playoff possibility.
Of course that goes with all 2 loss teams, although I did hear someone saying that Oklahoma might be the top choice to get there of those outside of the top 10.

OSU is still in it with that Michigan game and the big champ game remaining.

Early losses don't hurt nearly as much and bama has benefited from that in the past.
